Taj Green Cove Resort & Spa Kovalam

I stayed with my family at Taj Green Cove, Kovalam last month. I was a bit concerned about food for my children, but on arrival, Chef Harish Rawat personally assured me that whenever we needed anything for the kids, I could call him directly and he would take care of it. This truly made our stay stress-free and comfortable. The food was absolutely outstanding — in fact, during our entire Kerala trip, we didn’t find food as delicious anywhere else. A special thanks to Chef Harish Rawat and the entire team — Sujith, Mansingh, and Nitisha — for their warm hospitality, attention to detail, and excellent service. You all made our family vacation memorable. Thank you once again to the entire team at Taj Green Cove, Kovalam.

The setting was tranquil and picturesque, characterised by lush greenery and a lagoon, along the banks of Vembanad Lake. It was notably interesting as it was originally owned by missionaries from Essex, England. We found it a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, overlooking the swimming pool. It was located next to the spa and a small gym, where I consulted with Dr Akshara. She recommended four effective treatments for my back, which were carried out by two skilled therapists, resulting in notable improvements. The food at the buffet restaurant was of high quality, with a variety of freshly cooked eggs available for breakfast and flavourful curries served at dinner. Since I prepare my own soup at home, I especially enjoyed the Chef’s tasty soups and would have liked to obtain a couple of his recipes. The staff were respectful and kind. They handled everything with a smile, and nothing was too much trouble. While it is difficult to remember all the names, a few stood out: Gayathri, Senthilk, Smitha, Femi, Ajay, and Malu, who managed the pool and engaged my husband with her cheerful conversation.

It was simply an amazing stay, Sebastian and Nethra ensured a smooth checkin, we were travelling to celebrate our birthdays and parents anniversary, and i must say the hotel did fabulous decor. Sebastian even helped us redeem the shareholders vouchers which other properties where we stayed were clueless about (Vivanta Travandrum and Gateway Varkala). Coming to the dining, food was simply awesome and service which Sujit and Dheeraj provided was exceptional. We hired a car to travel around and even our driver was so professional, it made the stay all the more perfect. Suman at Bait was also very helpful in pre ordering the food for us. Once again thanks a lot to the team, will definitely come back.

It was a beautiful, mesmerising and blissful experience. Every staff at Taj, Kovalam made sure that we were taken care of in the most appropriate manner. Right from Netra, Shiva, Joel, Sebastian, Lakshman. Big shout to Varun Vijay and Sebastian who made sure that kids have a fond memory. Mr Suku, Thank you very much for the continued experience of making us feel more and more ecstatic about our stay at Taj kovalam. It will be remembered as a beautiful memory down memory lane of ours. Our stay at Taj Resorts Kovalam was truly memorable. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, perfectly nestled along the serene lagoon and the vast sea, offering breathtaking views and a calming atmosphere throughout. A special thanks to Shiva and Sebastian from the front desk, who were extremely helpful, warm, and attentive. They ensured we had all the relevant information and made our stay smooth and comfortable from start to finish. We would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Chef Harish, who took exceptional care of us. His attention to detail and personalized approach made our dining experience truly delightful. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we look forward to visiting again.

Overall entire staff was good and amazing hospitality. Only glitch was the renovation work going on which kind of robbed some sheen of the property. Looking forward to future stays

My stay was immensely good and I have left the resort with wonderful memories. From checking to checkout each and every experience was just awesome. This truly showcase how Strong and excellent Taj is. This was my 6th stay at a Taj property and they have been very consistent with what they do. Special mention to Sujit or Sujeet , Dhiraj , chef Harish Rawat ,Adhwaithraj and Sabastian for giving us a memorable moments and for taking good care of us.

Best in class Hospitality . Having Tea/ Drinks at the Bait Restaurant in the Evening is one of the Best Experience. Watching sunset 🌇 when the sun goes down at the Bait Restaurant at Taj Kovalam, is Unmissable. Must experience. This property in itself is God's Own Country. I would like to visit this property again with my friends and this time I visited with Family. Thank you TAJ. ❤️
