AluaSoul Mallorca Resort - Adults only

We are half way through our stay here. Overall I would give the hotel 7/10. The reception area is clean as are rooms and the dining areas. Tables around the pools can be dirty with spilled drinks, especially in the quieter lounger area where there is no pool. The food is nice and there is a wide range of choices, all be if if you are picky you are probably limited to burger, hotdog, pizza, chips etc, but for most people there would be something different to eat every day. The only complaint is that the food can be cold, especially if you go later. We have used the grill restaurant and this was really nice with different options. Staff are friendly and helpful, however they do look stressed at times. The hotels policy of 1 bottle of water is not good given we have paid more than £3k to come. There is a range of drinks which are all nice, including sangria, rum, whiskey beer etc. You do have to pay more for different options such as Aperol. When we first arrived the air con in our room was broken, and the room smelled damp, we asked to move and on our second day moved to the hotel side across the beach, which has been a lot better. The beach and pool areas are very busy and you are within a couple of feet of people, with beds getting taken by 8am. The beach is public and busy, with families and children. The sea is full of plastic which seems to be pushed in by currents, I have picked some out every morning, however nobody seems to care. There are fish to sea and the water would be clear turquoise, if it had a clean up. Air con in the rooms does not cool very well and the room is constantly warm, the balcony is a decent size but you get a view of a street unless you upgrade to a sea view. The walls are thin and you can hear next doors TV. Overall the hotel is nice but with a clean up of the pools and beach, and maybe a reduction in how many people stay, it would be improved. We would stay again however I do think for the cost there are probably better options elsewhere, it hasn't been a disaster though.

This is our 9th visit to the hotel and still love it. Hotel itself and food is always good but it’s the people who take care of you that make the difference! To name a few - Maru, Curro, Natalya, Paco, Jose, Mahmoud, Modesto (my fave omelette man but he was on pasta this year). Missed Anna this year but they all welcome you with open arms.

The staff overall were nice and helpful. Love having access to the cove, and the pool area was nice. Free parking around hotel was definitely helpful.

Didn’t like some of our friends room air con wasn’t working well. The room comes with the bare minimum. No tissue box, or other bathroom things like shower cap etc. $10 deposit for beach towel per person was a bit excessive.

I’m currently on day three of my stay and absolutely loving it! Here is my honest, detailed breakdown of the hotel. Location & Venue The Spot: The location is fantastic. It has its own small beach, is super close to local shops and restaurants, and is just a short taxi ride away from Cala d’Or. The Layout: The hotel itself is pretty and stylish, with clean rooms throughout. It’s split into two buildings. We were lucky enough to be placed in the main building with the bars and buffet. While guests in the second building have a short walk over for these amenities, it’s really not a lengthy or tedious walk. Staff & Service (10/10) The reception team is absolutely lovely! They went above and beyond to help me book restaurants. When my room wristband stopped working, they fixed it instantly. Later, when I managed to lock myself out of the safe, a member of the reception team came up immediately with a key—all smiles, despite my feeling like a bit of a pain! I have nothing but praise for them. The Rooms The Good: Our room is spacious, clean, and serviced daily. The Quirks: The bathroom is open-plan. It looks great, but it offers very little privacy during "certain" bathroom activities! There is also a slight plumbing odor, which seems unavoidable, and the beds are on the firmer side. Neither of these bothered us, but they are worth noting if you are picky. The Corridors: The hallway carpet has a few stains and is lifting in places, but unless you plan on knee-sliding down the corridor or walking barefoot, it won’t affect your holiday at all. Food & Drinks Dining: The food is incredible! We stayed at a 5-star hotel last year, and the food here is honestly much better. If you love seafood, fresh salads, and a massive breakfast spread, you will be thrilled. However, if you are a fussy eater, you might find the options a bit repetitive, as the simpler items are mostly limited to pizza and chips. Drinks: The drinks are refreshing, and the sangria is absolutely to die for (I’ve definitely consumed my fair share already!). Many of the cocktails are slushie-style, which is perfect for staying cool in the heat. Entertainment & Pools Entertainment: The live music has been a massive highlight. The first night featured a phenomenal soul band, and the second night had a great rock classics act. Really high-quality live music! Pools & The Sunbed Situation: The pools themselves are nice and average. The only real downside is the sunbed reserving. The hotel claims to have a strict policy against it, but by 7:30 AM or 8:00 AM, almost every bed is already claimed with a towel. It can be a bit frustrating. Overall Verdict I highly recommend this hotel. It’s a beautiful place to relax, and honestly, I can’t see how anyone could be unhappy here with a cocktail in hand and the sun shining!

Lovely food, lovely service and really positive vibes. Ross and Elias were superb.

I am here with my mum (81yrs) with limited mobility. After booking and reading reviews I was going to change because of this and before our final payment. So glad we didn’t..there is steps and if you can do them (there is lifts too but to the lower tier to the beach and entertainment bar you have to use steps) and also make sure you are in building 1 as building 2 you have to cross beach every morning and evening to access restaurants. On arrival this happened but was told to cone back in the morning and hopefully will be able to move..they did accommodate and had a great room on reception floor level..they were very helpful..coming back over in minibus to pick us up and bring us back ..bell boys came to room and helped with cases too. Fridge.kettle and a bottle of water in room. We are half board and plenty for us..drinks are reasonable at bar too if paying..you have to weigh up the cost accordingly to suit your. Needs.we paid £750 for a week (jet)each from may 28th h/b… people we spoke to had payed 1200 all inclusive for four days another couple had paid 4000 for a week.so it does vary. You are not in cala D or this hotel is in Cala EGOS ..a ting ting train bus or taxi ..or 40 minutes walk to Cala d or ..less to the marina but the train worth going on to see this and fun! is an option to get about if need too…train ride great . Cala egos is small but has supermarket and shops restaurants if needed. Entertainment every night we enjoyed great singers 9-10.15 so not late …we loved it . Food ..breakfast..fab ! Evening meal..we found something. Could use restaurant in building 2 over looking cove 3 times on booking ..we opted for grill our chicken and steak was nice and brought to you. Rooms cleaned everyday if you wished. I will say no pool toilets had to go inside to bar area and blocked many times and could be cleaned and bins emptied more regularly. An outside toilet block is need by pool please! Probably wouldn’t bring my Mum back but would come with friends or as a couple. All the staff are friendly, happy and always please to help. People on reception, especially Miriam and lovely Monica in the restaurant always had an hello , ,bon appétit.❤️ Keep up the good work to you all .👏
