Great Wolf Lodge Sandusky

Our overall experience was not a pleasant one and won’t be returning. They nickel and dime you at every turn. Make it way too complicated to pay for things on top of being charged for waking up I feel like. Got charged $16 for unreturned pool towels which were left in the bathtub of our room. Have to pay $20 a night for parking. There was something our family was complaining about it seemed like at every turn. We use to enjoy coming here years ago but now it is just a money grab and not worth it. I don’t mind paying for things. We are not a cheap family but this was just ridiculous.

Sandusky. It was clean and the staff was very friendly. I ended up finding a lost little girl and they were very professional, and even though I refuse to leave her side because it was men, they were very professional and finding the family and it was a happy ending. But what did suck was that the people that were above us were so ridiculously loud that it was hard to fall asleep and would wake us up throughout the night and early in the morning so very noisy. We also had a neighbor two doors down that was throwing their soiled diapers outside so the whole outside smell like poop. Lifeguards were on it. I felt very safe letting my kids swim while I was watching and while I was in there with them, they patrol like they are in the army, which I loved. Nothing got past them. We ended up extending our time for a night, even though they did not give it to us for the price that they said they would which was $99. Wedid it anyways ended up that the fire alarm went off at 2:30 in the morning, and we all had to vacate our rooms and gothrough the front lobby and out the doors, which was absolutely ridiculous because it was for absolutely nothing. It was extremely hard to get back asleep that night, and it was an awful last night. Asked for a refund for the last night due to all the hassle and they did not do that for us. Mary who was our house keeper, an older African-American lady, was extremely helpful and nice and did an excellent job and deserves a raise. We made sure to give her a cash tip for cleaning our room, even though it was less than what we wanted to give her, but we did not have much cash on us. She deserves praise.

Land has been amazing with the girls and high energy for dance and fun at crafts. She takes the time to notice everyone and make them feel like part of the team!

Family fun for sure! I took my grandkids (4 and 6) along with my 16 yr old son and his buddy. We all had a great time. The experience was all around welcoming. Staff was so helpful and kind. Prices were reasonable. Definitely will visit again!

What a excellent place, very clean, great for families. Wish it was a lot bigger but still a great place. Perfect for the little ones.

Alejandra was so helpful at check in, went and above and beyond to help explain everything with rooms and areas to explore. As well as helping us understand the wolf pass , everything included and allowed for An amazing time with the family. We left feeling fulfilled we had a packed stay filled with fun activities games and adventures. She is very helpful, upbeat, friendly and kind.

I mistakenly thought that the loft room would be a good option since there were 3 of us and the room has 3 queen beds. The loft is useless due to the loft area being very hot and stuffy, the skylight that is near the bed made it difficult to sleep due to bright light shining in the room. I was also surprised that a premium room with a premium price only came with wristbands for 2 people and additional wristbands are $20 each per night. I also told an employee on our first day there that the change filter indicator was on for the water fountain but it was still blinking 2 days later when we checked out.

She did what she could to help us be able to extend our stay. She got management approval to move us to a new room in order to accommodate us! Thank you so much Samantha!

Fun place for families with kids 12 and under. Rooms are always clean, smell nice in hallways and friendly staff for the most part. They have good activities for the kids like arets and crafts, dance parties and stary time. My only two complaints are the the breakfast "buffet" and the lifeguards. The buffet is not an actual buffet but a tray of food and you practically get rushed to eat. I witnessed on multiple occasions this trip when the lifeguards did not do their jobs. I had to help multiple kids from almost drowning because lifeguards were not paying attention and just doing the pool count (whatever that is). This made me feel uneasy and I had to keep my guard up since I didnt feel my kids were safe.
