Hotel Condesa Mallorca

Kids activities were just right for entertaining and the water slide kid area was perfect/safe for their enjoyment (and ours ha).

The hotel staff was amazing in spite of two huge storms that passed through. They worked so hard to keep everything running while the island flooded and dealt with electrical outages.

The hotel is old and has a very weird smell in the room and the hallway. Bed is very stiff. Aircondition sometimes working. I put 1 star on staff because of the room cleaning lady, on room 101. Today was our last day, check out was at 11:00 and i was in our room at 11:05 naked and i was putting my clothes on to leave, while the cleaning lady opened the door without knocking first and started shouting on me bcs i was 5 minutes late! She was screaming that i am late and i have to get out and that she will be back in 10 minutes, as i was telling her to go out to get dressed since i got no clothes on but she didn’t. The rest of the staff was very nice except her, especially the blonde girl Andriana at the reception was the sweetest.

Great location and plenty of activities for kids.

Third year in a row but the cleanliness of housekeeping isn’t the best. Areas in the bathroom/shower not cleaned. Old sock and dust underneath the bed upon check in and left there/not cleaned until we checked out. There was three of us, two adults, and a child and they kept leaving us one bath towel short. Other than the above we always enjoy everything else as part of our stay.

All in all it was a nice stay, great breakfast and close to beach

Hotel Condesa is a very kid friendly hotel so if you have older kids be prepared for a lot of young children. Overall my experience (with a 16 year old) wasn’t great. Everyone from the front desk staff to the restaurant staff were neither pleasant nor helpful. I was quite disappointed. So much so that my son and I spent most of our time away from the hotel. The pool and beach areas were very crowded every day of our 10-day stay. Understandably we were there during a peak time. That said, hotel guests would place beach towels on chairs at the pool and the beach to prevent others from using them. This happened every day. We found chairs unoccupied for hours with towels on them as if they were being used. There was entertainment every night that started around 9 or 9:30 pm which was the best part of our stay. But it was loud and usually lasted until close to 11 pm followed by guests and their kids running up and down the halls of the hotel loudly talking and slamming doors. There was a bracelet system by which the hotel tracked which guests were all inclusive (all meals and drinks paid for) versus those that only paid for certain meals like breakfast. Based on my observations, restaurant staff treated guests differently based on the color of their bracelet. There were also chairs around the pool reserved for certain preferred guests. All of this is fine but it definitely isn’t explicitly advertised by the hotel when you’re booking.

Unfortunately I have to say this has been the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I travel all around the world so I can tell you I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. We got here 2 days ago and our experience has been terrible. The room is very small and very old. The only part that is not too old is the bathroom. When we checked in I told the receptionist to please give us a room in a high floor and she said no we only have available in first floor so I said ok but I wish I didn’t because our room was just above the dumpsters and we heard the staff throwing bottles since 6am so we could sleep at all, because besides the thin walls were you could even heard the people having sex or coughing all night from the other rooms, the staff started cleaning the rooms around 7:30am and moving furniture and rolling carts in the rooms so loudly. The curtains were broken and for the entire day the hotel has issues with their electricity so we didn’t have ac at all. The staff at the reception and the managers are extremely unfriendly and rude. At check in they never told us that it was almost impossible to get a chair at the beach or at the pool because Not a single chair at the pool available in two days before 6pm. All lounge chairs at the beach must be rented (purchased in advance 4 day minimum). When asked if I could rent chairs for the day, I was told there were none near the hotel.
