Beach - Wonderful & beautiful. Food - Cold and repetitive choices. House keeping - Didn't clean our room for three of the eight days. Water - Hard to get in the room. Grounds and garden - Nicely kept. Bar and service - Limited selection and no service. You had to stand in line to get a drink with one or two bartenders. Rooms - Are big but OLD. Activities - Limited. Towels - At the Barvo you have to check them in and out, but at the Palace next door you do not, weird. Would I stay at the Grand Palladium Bavor again, no. We've stayed at the Place next door and it was good. Too bad the quality of service is not the same at all of their properties.

Deeply Disappointing Stay at Grand Palladium Bavaro Resort How would you feel if your dream vacation for a milestone celebration turned into a nightmare? That happened to my family and me during our stay at the Grand Palladium Bavaro Resort in Punta Cana. We chose this resort in Punta Cana from 23rd December to 27th December for our parent's 25th wedding anniversary—a once-in-a-lifetime celebration with our family—but the experience was shockingly disappointing. Upon arrival, one of our rooms was filthy and not cleaned after the last guests (photos attached). Reporting this to reception only made things worse. We waited over FOUR HOURS in the lobby, repeatedly ignored by staff, before finally being assigned a new room at 8 PM. This wasted our entire first day. The frustrations didn’t stop there. Despite promises of “world-class service,” receiving basic amenities like toothbrushes took two more days and multiple requests. Staff were dismissive and unprofessional throughout, leaving us feeling unwelcome and disrespected. The lack of cleanliness, poor service, and unresponsiveness were shocking for a resort of this stature. This was meant to be a joyous celebration, but instead, it was filled with stress and disappointment. I cannot recommend this resort to anyone looking for a seamless, relaxing vacation.

Needs New Management This resort has the potential to be a 5-star top-notch stay but needs major improvement in service. Big Picture? It’s a great stay but there are many issues with the quality of service that can only be addressed with a complete management overhaul. Pros * Beautiful beach * Beautiful property and grounds * Clean * Hardly and mosquitos or any other bugs (in December ) Cons (There are many but I’ll list some of them) * Check-in: It took over an hour with only one person ahead of us in line. Once I got to the front of the line, my check-in took at least 30 minutes. Check-in staff disappeared into a back room multiple times for several minutes with no explanation and then returned. Surely this process can be streamlined. * Unexplained downgrade: at check-in they said they would downgrade our room; the explanation was convoluted and incomprehensible. The compensation (a massage) was inadequate. After a long journey and 1 hour of waiting in line I was in no mood to escalate further. * Buffets are disorganized: There is no operational protocol, such as: sit customer, bring silverware , bring water, coffee etc. Instead it’s the Wild West where you have to chase the staff around for something to drink. There were several times that I finished my meal before I got a glass of water or coffee with it. One time I grabbed a jug of water myself; the staff took great offense to this so I didn’t try that again. Also, there were several times

Beautiful very clean great personalities very loveable staff only issue was there was only one late night disco/club and people not from hotel or staying at hotel found a way to get in club. Sports bar also packed with people not from hotel, staff became very frustrated and took out on actual guest of hotel. Need to open more options for reservations for dinner if unaware of reservation will not be eating at restaurants due to being overbooked
