Sandcastle Oceanfront Resort South Beach

Well my room was old and out dated toliet or tub leaked everytime u use the bathroom and they did not return my deposit and it was not the suite i seen online

We we're very disappointed with this place,the inside pools we're shut down by the health department, there is no tiki bar, there is no bar and grill, there is no room service. we had to take our room towels down to get them exchanged for clean ones, we had to request cooking and eating utensils.. the pools are being cleaned with bleach instead of chlorine!

It was ok. Not a top resort but not the bottom either. Only real issue was that our room was not ready at check-in time. Waited until 530 and they had to end up giving us a different room bc it still wasn't ready. Not a good start when we drove 10 hours to get there and timed it so we would get there at the scheduled check-in time. Other than that everything was ok.

The check in time was 4pm but we waited almost 2 hours to get checked in because they said our room was not ready...It was very inconvenient and our first time experiencing like this."

First room has mold and other room still had but not as much. Also room next to us that seemed to have permanent guest smoke weed every hour on hour and it would cause my room to smell like it and we couldn’t enjoy patio because of smell. Also same guest would smoke in the patio area where kids are playing in pool and families trying to seat and enjoy but couldn’t because of foul smell. Location great and staff but due to mold throughout building and smoking will not return.

I'm not real picky it could use an update but it was okay

First the pool was closed over half the time we were there. And then one of the rooms by us had a fire in it and i had to grab a fire extinguisher to put it out. And all they said was thank you

Find somewhere else to stay.

Was not a clean place air condition leaked on balcony pools were closed for 2 days

If I could rate this hotel it would be a 0! The showers were disgusting, rusted stove. Front desk was so rude. The pool was down every day but one, and the one day it was down, the maintenance guy told us we could swim as he sat there and watched us for 2 plus hours and then Decides to tell everyone the pool is closed. Not to mention the rude manager lady that threw the sign up in my 6 year olds face and yelled for everyone to get out of the pool. The room next to us caught on fire from an employee trying to turn the burner on the stove and leaving a trash can on it. The hot tub had dirty socks in them for the entire time we was present. The bathroom door barely shut. The beds were uncomfortable and had stains on the sheets. The parking garage is not 2 car friendly, so if you drive a bigger car good luck. One of the workers tried to walk into our room! The tv was a good solid 22 inches max, I’m not sure who wrote the descriptions, however they’re a far cry from accurate. Oh! And there was mold on the ceiling. Yeah never again will we stay there.
