Bluegreen Vacations Shenandoah Crossing, an Ascend Collection Resort

Property was great, cabins were small, we were in a 2 bedroom. 33, and it was okay. I was told parking & a sidewalk need a special request on booking so it was a hike up to the cabin we rented. Security saw us lost & helped us out thank goodness. Staff was kind & other than broken blinds our stay for a week was nice. The grounds are beautiful. Our first time there & we would go back. Maybe try for the 3 bedroom. 2 bedroom is small, And there's no washer and dryer in the unit however there is a free washer and dryer on site.

Surroundings and facility

Did not know it was a time share type facility. Blindsided by need to attend sales meeting.

We were in 2 bedroom cabin, very clean and comfortable. Pretty property, well maintained. Only there 2 days, would love to go back.

The Lake is cool! The premises are beautiful. The negative was the hard sell to be a Member though we were not let in until 20 minutes after 4 pm. We also were not warned about a amenities fee when we only used the lake with our own kayak. I guess not conducive for a quick stay while in the area, and more of a resort destination. Also, the cleaning person inadvertently came in after 4:30 pm once we had already gone into the room. That was a little unnerving. No harm, no foul. Just a little awkward or a 'high end' resort imo.

Cabin was nice, quiet and clean. Resort layout could’ve been planned better and the steps leading to the actual steps to get into our cabin were big, not well maintained and lacked a railing.

We stayed in a two bedroom cabin. It was very nice and comfortable. All the staff we met were very helpful. We would definitely go back again. It was one of the most relaxing vacations we have had in a long time.

The weather was perfect this year at Shenandoah Crossing. Our cabin was very clean and in great shape. We really enjoyed the new deck. The only problem was the internet was out all week. It was spotty last year. We were told a major upgrade was in the works.

We has a wonderful time. The unit and resort were clean and very well maintained. Plenty of activities depending on your level of interest. The restaurant was wonderful with delicious breakfast.
