Boardwalk Beach Resort

It was a traditional room not a suit and not what I expected when I reserved it it was crowded there was poop in the pool garbage all over and all amenities were split between 4 buildings

Iiked the ocean view. The chairs on the balcony was old and dirty. The hotel was old and dirty. Room wasn't very clean. Carpet was nasty in room and throughout the property. Elevators felt unsafe. The bedding didn't look clean. Bought sleeping bag to sleep on top of bed. Tub had a very slow drain. The toilet water ran after flushng. The building i stayed in needs to be demoed.

Though the staff was very nice, the accommodations were not as advertised. The nicest part about the room was the beautiful bathroom. Everything else was old and in only semi-working condition.

I loved the location, swimming pool options, kitchen area and vending/ice machines locations. My room was decent, but definitely could use a good cleaning and minor updates.

This hotel is in horrible condition. Very old, mildew smelling, bugs in the pool, filthy curtains, loose firewall that shook when it was windy, elevators are very scary. Would never recommend staying here unless you’re used to filth

When I checked in the room was filthy. The beds were not made and the sheets and blankets were on the floor. The bathroom was dirty and the room wreaked with the smell of marijuana! I immediately called the front desk and they said that all of the rooms were booked, but they assured me that housekeeping will clean the room in the morning. Next morning, housekeeping did not show up. So I walk over the office and then I was informed that housekeeping does not clean the rooms until checkout due to Covid. They gave me a couple of clean sheets, blankets, and towels so I can clean the room MYSELF. I booked a 3 night stay and had to live in filth. My fiancée's birthday weekend was ruined. Thanks a lot Boardwalk Beach Resort!

no laundry available at all , the bathtub was not clean, the oven was too old, towels was too small, no room service was ave., the furniture was dirty.

I was disappointed with this hotel. The rooms were outdated, the carpets filthy- I wouldn’t walk on them barefoot. The elevator worked sometimes and we were on the sixth floor. The hallway carpets were even worse than the carpets in the rooms. Filthy, bleach stains, and worn. We paid quite a bit of money for this place and certainly didn’t expect the conditions that we found. I will not be staying here again.

Since my first original review wasn’t accepted by hotels. com, I am having to write a second review with less details Boardwalk Beach hotel in Myrtle Beach was the dirtiest, oldest, dated hotel I’ve ever stayed in/ and I’ve stayed in a lot due to my son playing travel ball. Toilet, tub clogged, pool was dirty, only one old working elevator. Hotel advertised on line through hotels. com was misleading and not accurate. Paid ridiculous fee for one night stay and it was the worst experience ever. Even my kids said they’d rather go home than stay.
