Boardwalk Beach Resort

Best way to describe this hotel is a pile of crap that should be torn down. It was definitely my fault for choosing a cheap hotel but wow what a dump. My wife wanted to get some snacks out of the vending machine at night and I didn’t feel like she was safe to go downstairs by herself.

Overall a great place to stay, would stay here again.

I found hair in the shower and on the toilet.The next day I ask housekeeping for a trash bag and she kept saying she don’t have an big trash bag when all I wanted to do was help her out by cleaning up what my kids messed up.so after she act like she had an attitude I just left it alone.Was going to leave her a nice tip because I know how hard housekeeping is.

The workers are very rude. Very out dated. Had no water pressure for shower. Hot water barely worked. Elevators were very scary. Never again

DIRTY! TUB DIDN’T DRAIN! DISGUSTING CARPET. DEAD COCKROACHES STAYED IN A BIN UNDER THE ICEMAKER FOR DAYS WHILE “HOUSEKEEPING” PASSED BY IT EVERYDAY! DISGUSTING CARPET! DISGUSTING EVERYWHERE! Other than all of the above, good location, plenty of parking spaces, decent front desk service. Watch out for hidden and unpublished fees. Building needs some serious renovation! Health Department should shut it down until an overhaul renovation!

Not good experience with this hotel, it was dirty and smell bad. Pools were good, but really bad communication with reception people, they did not tell you about wristbands for pool.

It was nice to have a little get-away with my husband. But the cleanliness of our room was not that great. The bathroom was still dirty, mirrors were so streaky and so were the dishes. I had to wash the dishes before my husband and I could actually use them.. I mean I expected to have to rinse them maybe but they were dirty. Stuck on food, etc. They had to be scrubbed.

We are a family of 5 , the hotel is right on the beach in the heart of Myrtle, it’s easy to get to beach and pools, Lots of places to eat. It’s an original hotel in this area , it was fine for our family at a good price.

Great location but very outdated property. Kind of dirty. No coffee for the pot in the room & no bucket for the ice machine. Carpet was soaked like something had been spilled & not cleaned up.
