InTown Suites Extended Stay Newport News VA - I-64

This suites is infestation of bed bugs. I was bitten badly by bed bugs. I am afraid now. Never experienced this before. Office didn't open until 4pm.

The elevator doesn’t work, the main door is broken so it’s no safety for guests

I liked the location. It was close and convenient for shopping, etc

I didn’t like that the property misrepresented the fact that they had amenities that they DID NOT HAVE. When you visit their website to see what type of property it is and what the rooms/suites look like. You are given the impression that like most Extended Stay hotel properties, your room will include all the necessary kitchen items; pots and pans, dishes, utensils, etc. At least that’s what they show you on their website! However, when you walk into your room you will be surprised to see NONE of the items pictured in their misleading photos on their website.

While the staff were wonderful (Miss Denise was fantastic) the room and building were less than expected. The bed was thin and uncomfortable. It felt more like sleeping on an old pull out couch. The room was on the 4th floor and the elevator was out of order with no indication of when/if it would be fixed. It never was the entire week we were there. For an extended stay style hotel there were no utensils, pots/pans, etc. additionally, we were provided with two towels and two washcloths (no hand towels) and had to clean them ourselves in the pay laundry. Worst of all, there was a permanent cloud of pot in the halls. It was so bad at times that it came into the room. We regularly opened the window to air out the room.

The positive attitude of the staff and location.

Noises, uncomfortable bed, no iron and ironing board.

Pillows and bed extremely comfortable.

Need a coffee maker in rooms it was very inconvenient since I'm a big coffee drinker.
