InTown Suites Extended Stay Newport News VA - I-64

Stayed here the weekend of July 22nd, 2016 with 2 other family members. Checked into room and immediately noticed that there was a less than a half roll of toilet tissue in the bathroom. Looked for a replacement roll and found nothing along with no other toiletries except for a tiny bar of soap! This was the same as all other rooms. Was told than an additional roll of tissue was $5.00 and that the remaining roll should "be enough" by the front desk manager! Turned on the air, as it was 95 degrees and noticed a putrid, urine smell coming from the air unit!! Turned back the sheets and noticed stains on the sheets as well as hair!!! Opened the cabinets and saw ROACHES COME OUT! Immediately went to the from desk and demanded to be moved to another room! Manager went into the room and she agreed to move us. The second room was no better as the air unit was kicking out less air than the first and there were stains on the carpets. The room smelled musty and dirty! I asked could I at least get a full roll of tissue and was told if I want to go buy some, the store was around the corner!! The next day, after housekeeping left, we discovered that there was one wash cloth, and 2 towels in the room for 3 people. Asked for additional towels and wash cloths and was told by the manager that if we complain one more time, we would be evicted! Asked the manager what was her problem and she said she would "kick us out and wouldn't give a damn refund and because she's off for the next 2 days anyway, we are getting on her damn nerves!" We were leaving to go buy towels and wash cloths when the police roll up and after a 2 minute conversation with her, we were asked to empty our room and leave! Ended up bunking on the floor of a nearby relative! We have the officers names and the information of the hotel. We are filing a charge back with our credit card company! My suggestion is to stay at ANY other place but here!

Room was non smoking but it smelled of smoke.

Had a bad feeling when we were checking in (although the lady that helped us was very pleasant) and we were not proven wrong about our room. Glad it is only for one night. Not even worth the discounted group rate we paid. Mold in the coffee pot, the one and only coffee cup was dirty and greasy, there was dried up vomit all over the only chair in the room, broken door lock, microwave didn't work, carpet needed to be vacuumed, hair all over the sheet, and a used floss stick under the bottom sheet. Wasn't in the room early enough to discover this stuff before the front desk closed down for the night and was just told they don't open on Sunday. Again, this review is not a reflection on the pleasant nature of Christine, the lady who checked us in. Could not recommend staying here…ever.

The hotel was not very clean; my bed linens did not seem recently laundried.

Not so good could not get what we needed the staff was rude did not supply us with enough towels and washcloth.

People actually live in this hotel. The customer service desk is closed on Sundays and they do not clean your rooms or bring clean cloths and towels or soap. The toilet broke as well. Bad place to stay.

MY STAY WAS HORRIBLE!!! THE MATTRESS HAS URINE SPOTS AMD STRONG URINE SMELL. TOWELS AND COVER WAS DIRTY.. DIRTY EVERYTHING. WAS TOLD THEY HAD NO MORE ROOMS. DIDNT WANNA GV A DISCOUNT. ENDED UP LEAVN BEFORE MY ORIGINAL STAY. COULDA SLEPT OUTSIDE.. RIDICULOUS!!!

There was old blood stains on the mattress. The bed had no blanket. The outlet by the bed did not work.

Very good value. Has microwave, full-size refrigerator, 2-burner stove, and hotel-size coffee maker. However, no pots, pans, dishes or silverware. Limited coverage at the front desk, but a lit of contacts with one onsite provided.

Horrible.
