We didn’t get to stay as a result of the hotel having had a fire the night before. It would have been nice if they had contacted me to let me know before I got there after a 6 hour drive so that I could have made other arrangements.

Arriving was great. Bellboy was attentive. Easy check in and valet service. Leaving was horrible. No bellhop, no one to retrieve our vehicle. No one around anywhere for other 30 mins trying to leave. Breakfast was not impressive. Coffee was horrible

"Almost there"

Almost there! The hotel gives the vibe that it is an aging beauty. It is nicely arranged, service is nice and very friendly, rooms are clean, but things are aging a bit. We had to jiggle the door handle to get it to unlock. It looked like there was a channel on the TV for a guide, but it was blank so finding something to watch was hit/miss. The bathroom was nice, clean and modern, but there was no place to hang a towel or a wet swim suit. The only real negative was the parking garage was a block away and the parking app is not the most user friendly. Not a big deal if you valet, but it is if you self-park.

Housecleaning staff and maintenance staff helped with our needs.

The woman working the front desk was very unfriendly. She seemed annoyed when I wanted to know about check in time and just wanted to get back to scrolling on her phone. The web site advertises complimentary breakfast and parking. The front desk charged us immediately for parking and told us breakfast was a charge. When we questioned one of the managers, she said there was parking on the side of the building, but the employees use the spaces. We had to deal with the front desk another time over a password issue and to service was just as poor. When we were checking out we finally encountered a nice friendly employee.

"The mini fridge did not work. We were told to put a bag of ice in it to keep our drinks cold."

We did not try the breakfast, due to the breakfast being an extra $15.00 per person. We didn't partake. That's dumb. Terrible idea.

The $15.00 charge for a basic, hotel breakfast.
