What a beautiful hotel,rooms were spotless (257) staff were amazing & so friendly (Tony 🙌) shuttle bus into Sorrento & back last 1 back to hotel at 23.30,we booked a couple of trips before we went but really should have waited & booked at hotel as prices were very reasonable, peroni nastro azzuro on tap 👌prosecco was amazing also, breakfast was good with a good choice for everyone, dinner menu was ok, we ate out a few times but no issue,the views are absolutely spectacular,all in this hotel is 4 🌟 easy,no hesitation recommending the hotel as we had a great time, thanks to all hotel staff & maybe see you all again 🤞

This is a beautifully kept hotel. The rooms and public areas were clean and well maintained. Our room was on the third floor and we had a superb view of Sorrento, the sea and surrounding area. The staff were ALL fantastic; very helpful and pleasant - Tony provided the entertainment! Very quiet, totally relaxing stay. The only downside is the distance from Sorrento town centre - but then again the free shuttlebus runs every hour.

Just back from here and overall it is a very good place to stay - it is a beautiful location and the hotel is kept in pristine condition. Staff are absolutely superb and could not do enough for you - they are a credit to the hotel. Nice a quiet in the evenings and atmosphere is relaxing. Lots of trips available to book through reception and they take care of all the details - trips were very reasonably priced. Few downsides: The 'half board' fiasco leaves you feeling shortchanged - set menu of pretty sparse and bland plates and when I noticed there was a different menu for those not on half board it was pretty mean. This seemed to be combined to TUI, Jet2 & Easyjet. The Sea view rooms are a bit of a lottery and you will be fairly lucky if you secure one through British tour operators - they obviously buy the cheaper room up and the TUI website indicates that you will get a sea view if you book it - the hotel then charges you a upgrade fee if you want to move rooms. Some rooms had no view at all and looked directly onto another balcony. It would be 5 stars easily if the food situation was sorted out - offer people an upgrade to the proper menu? We ended up going to Sorrento to eat and we shouldn't really have had to. I suspect the 2 downsides above are more down to TUI etc. trying to extract as much profit as possible but it does not reflect well on the hotel!

Lovely quiet hotel, great pool, staff very helpful, shuttle bus very convenient, nice donkey!

First the positives. The hotel has a fantastic view over the bay of Naples which is equally spectacular in the day and night. The hotel staff are friendly and the rooms are kept clean on a daily basis. The shuttle bus is needed as you cannot walk anywhere and it was reliable. The main issue is the quality of the evening meals, you do get a choice of 3 starters,main and dessert however the quality is below what you should expect of a 4 starters hotel. We chose to eat out after 2 nights which is disappointing as we’ve already paid for a meal. I also would expect to have drinks with the mean even if it’s a bottle of water but you get absolutely nothing

It’s 15 min ride down on hotel shuttle and just wished it came around more frequently.

Lovely hotel and staff. Food for Half Board always had something we liked. Hotel shuttle bus was a bonus as it is out of town. Runs hourly until 11 30 in the evening. We hadca lovely view from our balcony over The Bay of Naples😀👍

We've just returned from 12 nights at The Vue d'or Sorrento and wanted to say what a lovely experience staying at this hotel has been. The position of the hotel is quite a way out of Sorrento, up in the hills, close to the village of St Agata. But the hotel has its own shuttle bus service that runs regularly in and out of Sorrento so there's no difficulty to get out and about. The staff at the hotel were so friendly and helpful, nothing us too much trouble. It's not a huge hotel, therefore it's more personal, friendly and attention to comfort and very clean everywhere. So, if you want to see the Amalfi coast, visit Pompii, Sorrento, Naples or any of the other places to go, but want somewhere to stay that's quite and peaceful, we would really recommend this hotel.

We have loved our stay, the rooms are kept very clean, as is the rest of the hotel. Staff are friendly, Tony, the restaurant manager is really funny and makes everyone feel at ease. The shuttle bus is great but doesn't run from 12noon until 3pm, siesta time. Two issues for us. The walls are not soundproofed so you hear every noise, as it is all tiled, Biggest issue for us was having to vacate the room by 10am when we don't leave until late afternoon. Suggest trying to get earlier flights than we did. We were half board so BB &EM, Drinks aren't included so it can be costly if you are on a budget. Overall a lovely family run hotel, very relaxed and kept very clean., with amazing views. We would definitely recommend.
