Cheltenham Chase Hotel & Spa

We were able to pack our car for free before heading to Chipping Campden for the Cotswolds Way. The spa was a nice touch for a long walking day.

The staff didn't provide the spa hour on weekends when I asked. We had only 30 minutes to use the spa due to the early closing on the weekend. The restaurant staff was not paying attention to our orders. It took more than one hour to have our dinner. We weren't impressed with the service. You can do better.

Cooked Breakfast was a bit dried up. No dinner available Sunday evening so we had to go out. We hoped to use the pool Sunday evening when we got back but it was closed by 9.30 pm

Stayed here with my wife for 2 nights Arrived 2.00pm Check in was very busy and room not ready, however receptionist allowed us to leave our cases and enjoy the facilities of the hotel, told room wouldn't be ready until 3.00pm. Wife & I had drink at the bar and returned to reception just after 3.00. Room was available. A ground floor room which I'm not keen, on would rather have Room on higher floor, however the room was great, even though was next to car park. Room had everything we needed and was spotless. We used travelzoo voucher which included dinner on first night & bottle of wine in room, however receptionist asked whether we wanted wine in the room or with our evening meal, which was a good option, we chose with our meal. Evening meal was in Hardys restaurant which was very nice. Great choice on menu for mains & deserts however starters were not to my liking., but each to their own. Breakfast in morning you expect to be hectic & busy, however it was quite relaxed both mornings and good was very good, plenty of choices for continental & full english. Bar was good too. Only reasons for not giving 5☆ was Outside areas could do with a revamp due to uneven paving around the seating areas and an unused outside bar. Had a meal on 2nd night of stay in the bar, which was not very good. I ordered ham n pineapple pizza, wife ordered Chicken Tikka. Was amazed as meal was served 5 minutes after ordering, it came out that quick didn't have time to get to the bar gor a drink. Wife's meal was ok but the Pizza wasn't, parts of the pizza lacke any cheese and the ham hock was like shredded wafer thin ham. Having said all that would definitely return as hotel was clean all staff very friendly and approachable and restaurant food was great, just wouldn't purchase a bar meal again. Never used spa facilities so can't comment

Breakfast was wonderful. Dinner was wonderful and made special for my friend as it was her birthday. The room was cosy, clean and comfortable. I made use of the spa which was a good experience. Afternoon tea was served for us and made special for my friend as it was her birthday. I had a wonderful experience at the hotel.

Rooms pretty standard, but spacious and comfortable, slept well. Breakfast definitely an improvement on previous visit, which was very poor. Only real downside is the lack of disabled parking. Main car park is a little distant from the entrance and there are never any disabled bays available.

Tout était très bien, nous sommes arrivés à 2h du matin et l’accueil était vraiment au top malgré la barrière de la langue français anglais Nous étions venus exprès pour le cheese Rooling et nous sommes satisfaits de la proximité de l’évènement, du petit déjeuner et du spa

Our third time returning to this hotel. Great for a weekend getaway. Hotel facilities are great, the grounds are perfect for being dog friendly too. Food always tasty and rooms are a decent size. Special mention to Sandra on reception who remembered us from last time we visited and also to Jack on breakfast front of house / waiter - super polite and caring - he’ll go far in the hospitality sector with the right training and mentor. Well done. And see you all again in the future.

The room was clean and comfortable. Great choice of cold and cooked items at breakfast.

Air conditioning in the room was difficult to change. Although it was very hot outside, I had goose pimples as it was freezing in the room.I
