everything is perfect and they are very professional

Stayed four days for a quick look at Guangzhou and enjoyed the hotel immensely. The room was large, well appointed and beautifully presented. The staff had limited English (better than my Cantonese) but went out of the way to be helpful. Close to wonderful shopping and the excellent Metro system.

This is extremely good value for money. The location is really convenient. Very close to many shops and amenities but in a quiet cul de sac. The staff - in particular the concierge are extremely helpful. The front of house staff have mixed levels of English. I would say that you get excellent facilities and location for the cost. It is a little shabby around the edges however and perhaps the style is not so international

Hotel is situated close to many shops and restaurants. Very convenient location. Rooms are also very clean and spacious.

The food is expensive, most of the staffs can’t speak English and we can go anywhere in the hotel except the room and resto floor

Never stayed anywhere like it, firstly got overcharged for a spare bed in the room, manager explained it was 3 times the normal price because of Canton Fair ( wasn’t explained at booking ), it was the uncaring and take it or leave it attitude of the manager. Then, if you ordered a beer in the hotel lobby, the guys would nip out to the 7-11 and buy them, so they were charging hotel prices and pocketing the profit, the manager seemed fine with this. I asked how much for a car to Shenzhen, I was told that the house car was 1350 but he had a friend that could do it for 650 but I had to wait an hour, when I declined and opted for the train route, he got really nasty. Not looking to get anyone in trouble, so no names but I’ll never stay here again. Location is good, food is good but much better to spend a few dollars more and get a better hotel.

A top hotel, hidden away from the main roads... good value and convenient to Metro. We have stayed many times before... rates can vary which effects our booking. Only complaint is breakfast is probably the poorest in GZ... I could say 'adequate' but very plain and not as expected from this grand hotel. We had dinner just once... OK but nothing startling. Plenty of local restaurants so no real problem. We booked executive room... huge size and excellent bathroom.

Pretty disappointing stay. Upgraded to non-smoking room, still smelled like smoke so I had to wear a mask to sleep. Breakfast was paid seperately as I prefer to eat my own food from the supermarket near by in Taikoo Mall. I had breakfast there one day though and requested to charge my room (very normal procedure). An hour or so later when I was resting in my room with non disturb turned on, they called me in my room to come down stairs to pay cash to the breakfast restaurant - I thought this was very rude and inconviencing, and also unusual procedure. Also I checked out the night before my leave as I had an early flight the next morning, at this point I booked a taxi for 4:30am, when I came down the next morning to leave - no taxi had been booked and I had to wait an extra 15 minutes which was very stressful for Flight. Will never stay here again.

Nice hotel but somewhat dated - seems a little shabby chic for 5-star. The rooms had "kitchenettes" which doesn't make much sense without providing pots and pans. The wifi was solid and strong and the TV channels were premium. The bedding was not what I am used to nor were the linens.
