My husband and I were in Key Largo to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. We were very happy with our stay at the Reefhouse Resort from beginning to end. We had to adjust our vacation plans and were able to make the change easily. Once we got to the resort, we checked in hassle free. We received complementary champagne when we checked in. The room and property was very clean and peaceful. We scheduled two excursions at Pirates Cove Watersports onsite because it was convenient, and they exceeded our expectations on both the snorkeling trip and the sunset cruise. Every night , the bed was turned down and dark chocolate was left in the room. We didn’t eat on site until the last night. Typically we have found that we can get better quality food off site, plus we can see more of the local sites when we go exploring for dinner. We wish we would have just eaten at Gus’s Grill every night instead of overpaying for lesser quality meals or lackluster service. Our meal at Gus’ was fabulous, the service was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our final evening. We would highly recommend Reefhouse Resort to anyone visiting the Keys!

The Reefhouse Resort and Marina is wonderful. We had an amazing experience. The pool and beach are fantastic. Gus’s restaurant is delicious! And the Pirates Cove Dive Shop, right on property, is the best. Thank you for a wonderful time. We will be back!!

Simply said, this property was fantastic. Very well maintained at every venue. They even had staff raking the sand beach each morning, that should attest to all. Service was fantastic as well at every customer touchpoint, reception through checkout. This place is a must for any vacation in the Keys!

We arrived to find our 2 bedroom only had 1 bath. Front desk was able to hook us up with a room beside original. Which actually worked out better giving us more space to get out from each other and I felt like price was extremely reasonable. All of staff super helpful and friendly. If I ever make it back to the keys this will definitely be where I would book again. Our stay was May 30 to June 5

Do not sty at this resort. We booked a standard king view room. While the website shows you wonderful views of the water, our view was the parking lot and noisy road. I spoke with the front desk and they were complacent with the situation but offered to upgrade us for a fee. I asked where my view was and they basically said I got what I paid $350 a night for. We only stayed two nights and after the first day, we did NOT get maid service. The front desk said they did not have enough staff to service all rooms each night! Sorry!

Me and my wife went there the end of May and it’s one of the best resorts we’ve ever been to with the people being so nice. The rooms are so clean and the food at the restaurant being so good. If you want a nice pool and plenty to do definitely go visit this place.

The condition of the property was very disappointing. We chose this place to stay since it was part of the Opal Collection which is known for their more upscale luxury experience. This is not it. They have let the place get very run down. the bathrooms are in desperate need of updating. The restaurant was without gas one day. The pool bar is completely run down. No servers around the pool. We had no maid service one day because we were told 'they can't get to every room'. Parking was a joke. We had to circle around and around to try to find a place to park the car. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the condition of the place was not worth $450/night.

I would give this hotel negative stars if that were possible. This was easily one of the most unacceptable hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room was filthy and completely run-down, the AC barely functioned, and the bathtub was clogged from the moment we arrived. When I reported the issues, I was told maintenance had already gone home for the day. No apology, no concern, and absolutely no effort to move us to another room or offer any kind of solution. Things only continued to spiral downhill. I made a reservation at the on-site restaurant and later received a call saying they could only serve pizza or salad because the gas was broken. At that point, it became painfully obvious that this entire property is being horribly managed. To make matters worse, when we checked in, they only gave us 5 bracelets even though we booked a two-bedroom suite that accommodates 8 guests. They also suddenly decided to charge for boat docking and falsely claimed there was no space available, despite the dock being nearly empty when I checked myself. I have stayed at this hotel many times before, which makes this experience even more shocking and disappointing. I have never seen such a dramatic decline in quality, professionalism, and customer service. The manager was rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested in resolving any of the problems we encountered. Not once did anyone take responsibility, attempt to accommodate us, or show even the slightest concern for our experience. This hotel has completely fallen apart. The management is incompetent, the property is poorly maintained, the customer service is awful, and there is absolutely no accountability. Save yourself the frustration, wasted money, and ruined vacation by staying somewhere else. I will never return and would strongly warn others to avoid this hotel entirely.

We had a wonderful stay at Reefhouse Resort & Marina in Key Largo! The location is beautiful, right on the water with amazing sunset views. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely designed, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. We especially loved the pool area and all the activities available, from relaxing on the beach to water sports. It’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the Florida Keys vibe. Would definitely come back!
