Silva Beach Hotel

Silva Beach Hotel is on the main avenue of Herniossis, Crete and the hotel grounds extend to the sea. The rooms were clean and modern. There were two pools, plus space available to lay out on the beach. Also, available is a Spa with massages and other treatments - these were not included in the all inclusive part of the stay. The main crowd was European, mostly German, as can be seen oh the television which has 8 German channels versus two for English. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks plus drinks and certain cocktails are all included. You can have drinks at the cocktail bar overlooking the sea. My only minor negative was the food - it was good. But you have to remember you are in Crete which has so many restaurants with great food. Overall, Silva Beach is a great economic option, but consider going outside the grounds once in a while and experience the great cuisine of Crete.

This hotel is amazing, it has perfect views everywhere you go, the rooms are excellent. We took a room for four people tho I would like there to be more charging ports because there wasn’t enough. One thing or to be specific one person stood out and he is called sifis and he is such a sweet person, he helped us with everything that we needed showed us the place، he was so cheerful and I liked that so much. He made my stay at this hotel much more pleasant Than it already was and I would come back here again.

The Massage from Antonis was the best in my live. I would come back every time. A absolut need in the vacation !!!!!!!!!!!

Had a lovely stay with our friends. Food was lovely, very clean. Special thanks to V boy and noe for making our stay more enjoyable.

Well were do I start got there at 10pm at first look was very nice they took us to our room which was 3 flights of stairs which was our first problem with two disable people which I had requested a ground floor place which I have always done and always got so rung down to request to be moved but got told can’t move until tomorrow but come down to reception at 10am and they will show us the room was taken to the room only to be told can’t get in there to see it as they ask to stay there until 6 pm so ask to come back then so I went back at 6 to reception only to be told can’t move into the room until 9 pm so finally got into the room at 9 only to be in there for 5 minute open the bathroom sort to find a friend notttt cockroaches so rang down to get it sort they came very quick only for him to walk in and start spraying this spray not asking if it ok with me with copd and asthma which made my chest bad all week then for us to wake in the morning with a dead cockroach in the lounge and most of staff wasn’t very happy there is loads more I could say but I will say one more thing this hotel certainly should be a 4 * needs to be a 3

Been staying at this hotel for the last week. Everything about the hotel is amazing especially the young lady Sissy on reception couldn't be any more help. The only issue I have had is the sun loungers, my room is over looking the larger pool and when I wake around 7am there are lots of towels out already. Today as it was a pool day for me, when I finally managed to get myself there there were two beds without towels on. All the other beds had towels on but no guest other than a handful dotted around. The beds which were reserved by me wasn't occupied until 3pm. This is when most of the mainly french guests seemed to have returned to their preclaimed beds. I know this is a issue in most hotels but it really does wind me up why guests feel the need to do this. Great hotel, clean and friendly and staff are pleasant too would definitely return and would like to bring my family next time. Thank you for a lovely stay

Just back from a week in silva beach. rooms were clean , towels changed daily and beds made. Room was a decent size , not much of a view but was not prepared to pay extra for that when u only sleep in it. Comfy beds and little extras like shower gel and water in the mini fridge. The whole complex is very clean, well maintained , pretty and staff work hard. Two pools one salt water the other fresh. Both Very good sizes. Lots of sunbeds but they are reserved rather quick. 3 bars, one near reception. One by the pool and one by the beach. The beach is very rocky, little coves but water was lovely once u managed to climb down the rocks. The hotels got a spa. Main dining room and to the left of the dining room u will find Asian food in the evening . Plenty of food to suit every ones taste. They also do snacks between meals by the main bar daily. The Italian restuarant on the corner of the next road belongs to the hotel, you have to book but it's in with your all inclusive. There's also a American diner near the main bar that's all inclusive but you need to book it . Plenty of shops along the road. Beautiful bar on main road called "No Name ". And down by the beach is the "Scorpian King" bar restuarant. Very pretty and good music . Hotel is roughly 15 minutes from the strip along the beach road , lovely views plenty of bars and places to eat and also the marina . Outside the hotel turn left and at the bottom of the road your find Kartland. Go carts , great fun 20 euros each no need to book . Also going left Yamas Greek restuarant that needs to be booked, great food and traditional dancing , plate smashing and they get everyone up dancing, great atmosphere. Things to be improved at Silva beach. Back of toilet doors in public area, doors scratched and vandalised and very hard to open , not realy acceptable in a 4 star hotel. And entertainment could be improved. Noah and b.boy work hard but entertainment could be improved . All in all weather was great 28 degrees plus. Beautiful hotel, stunning views and made beautiful memories. Thank you Crete.
