Cape Panwa Hotel

If you like birds flying above your head in the restaurant and birds flying onto tables and around the pool and by the sunbeds in the beach and sitting on the balcony then go there. I myself found it hell in earth and couldn't wait to leave there. Rooms are nice and staff nice. Tram takes you to the beach. Shuttle takes you to the main road and back. Very quiet area and hotel. Lovely beach. Food and drinks expensive. Lighthouse bar needs some updating.

Wow, so great to come back for another wonderful holiday at Cape Panwa Hotel. This hotel is for those people seeking a quiet and relaxing holiday with excellent hospitality offered by the wonderful staff. Rather than a cookie cutter style hotel which could be anywhere in the world, Cape Panwa provides a unique Thai experience in a setting that still has coconut trees on the wonderful quiet beach. Thanks to Pim at reception for looking after us so well, to Lisa and Bew at Cafe Andaman for being really excellent wait staff and to Kung in the kitchen who continues to prepare wonderful and delicious Thai food. Room was always serviced well and the breakfast each morning had a lot of variety, with the power shots, juicer and Egg station a highlight. Each day had a mixture of hot dishes so a great breakfast. Would highly recommend for couples looking to completely wind down and relax

Excellent beach front resort, nice villas with a private pool. Excellent staff, they take care of all your needs, never have stayed at a hotel/resort that takes care of you up to checking in at your airlines

What an absolutely stunning hotel. Had a 10 night package and it was just amazing. I proposed to my future wife and the staff treated us like royalty. An engagement cake was given to us along with a stunning flower and towel display on our bed. Even the pineapple on the cocktails were shaped as a love heart. The food on the set European and Thai menus blew us away along with the sensational food at Panwa House and Tip of the Reef restaurants. Staff from cleaners to reception and restaurant staff were amazing. The beach was beautiful to swim and the pool facilities first class. Very, very relaxing and could always find a bungalow around the pool. A 2 minute trip down to Panwa Village on the free shuttle and great value to get a connection into Phuket in a luxurious mini van. Great massage businesses and sunset bars within walking distance and live music every night in the hotel. Breakfast absolutely sensational and a proper 5 star resort vibe. Stayed in a Cape Suite room which was the best room I have ever stayed in around the world and I have travelled a lot. We will be back next year for our honeymoon. The most beautiful, luxurious resort I have stayed in. Don't look any further than this hotel. We are from Adelaide, South Australia.

Overall, my stay was lovely but there are a few things that could be improved so it can feel more like a 5star hotel. 1. Cleaning of the rooms could be improved especially in the bathroom. 2. Some of the amenities need an update such as the gym and ensure that the AC works. The gym was stuffy and there was not air flowing. We shared the feedback with the lobby but still. 3. Some of the roofs by the tram seem to have mold. 4. The gardens around the property didnt seem to be taken care of. General maintenance to compete with the nearby hotels.

Rather underwhelmed to be honest. 5 day stay family of 5 in 2 rooms with breakfast. Limited vegetarian options at breakfast and no halal options at all. Food signs taken away at 10.15am when breakfast is until 10.30am. Staff is rather miserable. On checkout WiFi automatically removed and have to ask for another code. Seems so petty when you think how much you pay. Beach is lovely and a good shuttle service running between 2 hotels until midnight. Pools are good too. Unfortunately the tram that services hotel and beach was under maintenance the whole week we were here. Rooms were nice and big and housekeeping was good. For the price certainly didn't feel like value for money.

Beautiful hotel and surrounds in a quiet part of Phuket We stayed here in 2007 when our children were 9 and 7, now celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary, we decided to go back on our own. The world is a big place but because of the great memories will built before it was a must do . It was like stepping back in time as nothing had changed, still amazing as ever, hotel i parts is being updated but our sea view suite was great, with a large balcony where we sat and watched the boats sail past. We stayed bed and breakfast where there was so much choice you couldn't go wrong. we went down to the bay in the evenings eating at Sabai Sabai and evening drinks at Russells sunset bar , which we highly recommend both. The Natural restaurant in Phuket was fantastic with the best beef Mussamum curry i have ever eaten. Patong is lively and god to experience. Download the Bolt app for Taxi's and you wont go wrong.

Fabulous holiday, could not fault in any way. Staff were brilliant. Food was excellent, looking forward to returning, and the girl cleaning our room was fantastic.

Our travel agent booked this hotel as part of our multi centre holiday to Thailand. I contacted the hotel beforehand and they organised a driver to collect us from Rasada Pier. It was about 30 min drive to the hotel and we went up and down a very steep hill to get to the hotel. The hotel is located in a cul de sac on a hill overlooking the bay. There is a little open truck that ferries people up and down the hill all day and night to the sister hotel on a little stretch of promenade with street food vendors. There are also some lovely reasonable restaurants in this area along with a 7/11. We were warmly welcomed at check in with cool drinks and were advised our rooms were in a section up another steep hill 5-6 minutes climb away and if it was raining we would get wet walking between the buildings. We paid for an upgrade to be in the same building as the pool/ reception/ breakfast area. The hotel is lovely, rooms comfortable and spotlessly clean, the staff were just fine, not overly friendly or helpful, however had I know the spread out layout on the hill I might not have booked this hotel. The breakfast every day had a great selection of hot and cold food. Plenty of choices for both western and Asian tastes. There is a beach at the bottom of the hill with a funicular to make access easier. The sand at the edge of the water can be sharp with coral depending on the tides. Bring beach shoes to avoid a painful swim. On our last day we had a late flight and asked was there a changing room to shower and change after being in the pools. We were told to use the gym changing rooms and pointed in that general direction. The shower area in the gym did not have any towels available nor any staff around to hand out towels. After going back up to reception we were told to go and look under the desk at the gym entrance. Not really helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay and glad we had the room in the reception area.

Amazing luxury escape. Between the onsite bars, restaurants, and private beach we were spoilt. Big thank you to Hazel @Bamboo bar and Dear @Reception. Both were friendly, professional, and had very good English.
