Homewood Suites by Hilton Bloomington

Greeting on arrival was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, tidy and well maintained The bed was comfortable Staff were willing to go the extra mile, recommending personalised places to eat in the local vicinity and downtown in Bloomington. The breakfast had a lot of options and was very tasty. Whilst I didn't use it, the suite shop looked to be well stocked with diverse items if required. The location was good for my business and was also just a short drive away from the interstate and also downtown Bloomington.

The shower seemed to take a while to heat up in the morning on use, but once it did it was fine.

When we arrived to check in, they didn't have our Expedia reservation. I showed Trina at the front desk my email and itinerary #. She apologized. She called management and was able to push through our reservation and gave us a lower cost then what Expedia offered. She gave us water and cookies and checked in with us regularly. Room was spacious, breakfast was good and they even had crispy bacon! Nice place to stay with very kind staff.

Trina was very polite and had everything ready when I arrived. Check in process was quick and easy. She was very friendly and helpful. My room was clean and everything you would expect from a well ran hotel. Trina also helped me book my upcoming stays.

Everyone is very nice, but Trina, one of the night clerks goes above and beyond in her level of caring. She is efficient and helpful to everyone. A few of us have lost our homes and Trina’s level of compassion is unsurpassed. She has made my stay extra pleasant.

We stayed here in 2022 and loved the hotel. We just stayed here again and it didn't live up to past standards. The staff was indifferent whenever we spoke with them. The rooms are getting pretty worn out and need a refresh. Breakfast was hit or miss. One morning, there were no potatoes, eggs or coffee while we waited a half hour. I'd say that the hotel is not a bad stay but also definitely not a great stay.

My family and I have stayed here a couple Times already and we already like/appreciate the staff, especially Cinnamon, Trina and Wolfe. They are quick to answer any questions and resolve any issues. I feel that is missing in so many businesses now. The free breakfast has a lot of variety and accommodates those with food allergies and different diets. This is our go to place when we are in the area. Great job all!!
