Poorly lit parking, Restaurant only serves breakfast in the morning, Was so disappointed I didn’t stay to try it. Room was a decent size but could have been cleaned as had cobb webs in places, Sounded like a whore house after 9 from a number of rooms. Didn’t sleep much as had come up in a large number of bites during my stay.

Wide choice of food at breakfast and plentiful. Location was ideal for the funeral we attended at St John's church. We also feel that it's a good choice for visiting the surrounding area and will make sure we return to do so and also inform others.

Would have liked the option of having food in the evening.

For the price you pay this is a good place to stay. Amazing value for money. Staff friendly and helpful. Decent breakfast for the price.

I booked a room on behalf of my 95 year old aunt to stay so she could attend my wedding. Unfortunately I didn’t check that there was a room available on the ground floor, or whether there was a lift (which there isn’t as it’s a listed building). The hotel manager Siva couldn’t have been more apologetic or helpful even though it was not his fault. The hotel was fully booked, so we got my aunt upstairs with not too much problem and he moved her to the ground floor for the following night. She had a wonderful stay and was so thoroughly looked after by Siva that she said she didn’t want to go home!

Nothing. It is basic, but very comfortable and great value for money. Just beware if you are dropping off and not staying yourself, you still need to register your car registration in reception.
