Amazing Hotel Manager made up for any short fall in standards.

Thought housekeeping could be improved.

Although dated in decor, facilities were good. Lovely little extras in bathroom and complimentary drinks for booking a suite! Staff welcoming. Overall a good stay. Convenient for West Midlands Safari Park.

Breakfast limited for hot choice! Plenty of cold buffet.

Location

Cleanliness. Layout of room was impractical i.e I had to sit on the end of the bed to be able to make tea/coffee. Not enough sockets. Bathroom smelt funny. Shower dripping all night making it hard to sleep, breakfast wasn't possible although it was paid for due not open until 8am and we had to leave at 8.

Room was okay but the only plug sockets, which I need for my CPAP machine (for sleep apnoea) were too far away from the double bed so I had to sleep in the 2ft 6in wide single bed underneath the window, Breakfast was a bit disappointing as all the fried eggs had been on the hot-plate too long.

Booked a cheap deal & hotel in the right area. Breakfast offered a fair choice. Sheets appear clean

On arrival the auto checking machine wasn’t working - spent several minutes looking for any staff to help. Not a soul around. Place a little tired cosmetically. Breakfast in the restaurant- the walls were covered with food splatters, chairs need recovering. Pillows non existent- thin. & uncomfortable.

Well located for safari park

The hotel smells of mould and there was mould under my window on the walls and in the grout in the bathroom. Could do with a good update
