"We expected more room comfort based on the cost of our stay."

8.0

Free parking, Beautiful interior of common area and courtyard, delicious breakfast, extremely kind staff.

The room was very small and the mattress was soft, and not comfortable . Our door to our room was difficult to open due to its obvious age. The price for a less than a 24 hour stay of 933.00 (825.00 plus taxes and fees) was not worth it. Unfortunately, we were disappointed.

"Perfect experience - luxury stay in great location"

10.0

It blew our minds that an inn could be so well located and yet so tranquil. So cozy (not in the "small" sense Realtors use, I mean cozy like hygge) and yet so pretty. So welcoming and yet so unintrusive. So safe but so . . . nifty! We stayed in the Courtyard Suite and found it to be just lovely. Slept wonderfully. All the staff we encountered were welcoming far beyond what mere professionalism required (everyone, but particularly thinking of Glenn, Sue, Brenda, Toby and Liz) - I always felt as welcome at the Francis Malbone House as I did at my grandmother's when I was a kid. Breakfasts and teas were terrific. The indoor and outdoor spaces are beautiful, tasteful and interesting. We absolutely look forward to returning.

"A Great Hotel!"

10.0

We had a wonderful experience at the Malbone. The staff was vey helpful from check in to check out. The room was fantastic, the location was very convenient to the harbor, shops, restaurants and other sites of interest including the International Tennis HOF and a couple of museums. We would highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay there again in the future.

"Lovely stay, welcoming atmosphere"

10.0

This Inn has everything going for it - nice people, perfect central location, upscale amenities, air conditioning, parking included and a wonderful elaborate breakfast every morning. Not to mention tea and homemade snacks from 3 - 6 every afternoon! Our room was comfortable with a king bed, mini fridge, small tv and spacious bathroom. Nothing to complain about but my honest feedback would be that the federalist decor is a little tired and not so appealing. Large, dark, heavy antique furniture pieces, busy drapes and rugs, red carpeting, wing chairs, writing desks, etc. I understand this property is on the national registry of historic places and yes, this is how the house would have looked 150 years ago but - not sure that's a good thing.
