Catalonia Playa Maroma – All Inclusive

We stayed at Catalonia Playa Maroma for 1 week. This resort is whatever you want it to be. We chose the relaxed atmosphere of the beach and a la cart restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also the large pool area with DJ’s and activities if you want that atmosphere. Overall this resort was great for us. The BLoved was by far our favourite place to eat. From our greeter Janeth to all the waiters and waitresses Quirino, Carlos, Bernabe, Aldo, Alejandra and Gabriela we were always greeted with smiles and looked after efficiently. They love their job and that made us feel very good about our choice. The only restaurant we didn’t get to go to was Ayami but all the other à la carts were very good. Another pleasant experience was the beach area. Absolutely no chair games were played. Plenty of loungers and day beds for everyone to use. The overall feel of this resort was very relaxing and comfortable. The wildlife is amazing and we would definitely recommend this resort to family and friends.

Nice hotel. Perfect for stay with family and have a relax time. The animation team was always attentive and on point with the activities. They are incredible at the shows and we want to mention the mexican team: edgardo, karla, maite, oscar, Fernanda, claudia, Marlon y patricio for they daily effort. Thank u guys!

Everything is amazing. The hotel is incredible and the shows are great, especially Maite a great entertainer.

La spiaggia era molto bella, purtroppo invasa dall'erba marina e con trattori che pulivano costantemente... Al di la di questo tutto molto bello. Abbiamo apprezzato molto la presenza di animali locali in giro per l'hotel!

Come menzionato prima, la costante pulizia con mezzi pesanti della spiaggia, che purtroppo era necessaria per evitare un accumulo importante di erba marina sulla sabbia.

der natürliche Strand sieht toll aus, der Sand & die Palmen sind echt ein Traum. die Essensqualität jederzeit war richtig gut.

Wir haben unseren Familienurlaub (9 Tage) hier verbracht- leider, eine totale Enttäuschung.. 1. das Personal ist arrogant & respektlos 2. das Zimmer mit viel Schimmel, siehe Bilder 3. Wartezeiten - überall (Frühstück, Mittag- & Abendessen) freie Plätze ohne Ende..aber künstlich generierte Wartezeit damit man ein teures Upgrate kauft 4. Die Servicequalität an den beiden Bars ist echt nur traurig.. Eine Person jeweils mit Null Motivation - lange Wartezeiten 5. Die Servicequalität im mexikanischen A-La-Carte-Restaurant ist eine Katastrophe: Kein Respekt.. 6. Die Gebäude sind sehr alt & wurden kaum gepflegt.. in den Räumen herrscht hohe Feuchtigkeit & eine Menge von Schimmelbildung, teilweise es stinkt stark- eklig 7. Permanent wird versucht das teure Upgrate einzureden
