The best part about this hotel is the location. It’s right on the boardwalk and a very easy walk to the beach. The rooms are in need of an update. The mattress was HORRIBLE. We had to request towels three different times in one day and they were finally brought to the room after the third call at 9pm after waiting all day, not to mention when we checked in, they had no towels available and had to bring some to our room once they had some clean. Overall, I expected much more for the price we paid but unfortunately did not have the best experience.

They didn’t give us a room before 4 pm. They didn’t consider I have a kid. I asked them half an hour earlier they said no most of the hotel is checking around 3 o’clock. I went to the other hotels they even give me before that time.

Clean & nice. Only downfall was , I didn’t realize that there are 2 buildings with this hotel. And the building we were in was not directly on the boardwalk. My only complaint is parking. It was impossible to find a parking space. We ended up just paying 50$ to park for the night so we didn’t have to walk far with 2 toddlers.

This place is close to anything and everything you need while enjoying OC. Its right on the boardwalk, shops, entertainment and stores. Always a great place to stay.

10/10 do NOT recommend. I've never been treated so poorly by a staff member in a hotel. It started off great with check-in, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. We only stayed 3 nights and I was traveling alone with 2 small children. During the second night, at 11:30pm, long after we all fell asleep, the phone rings in the room. I missed the phone because I was asleep and I was confused by what was ringing. I assumed someone called the room by accident, given the time. Then suddenly, someone starts banging on door. I was afraid to open the door but did anyway. Hotel security was standing there, he told me there was an issue with my credit card and if I don't resolve the issue at the front desk by midnight, he threatened to evict us from the room. I told him I couldn't leave because my children were sleeping. I called the front desk and the woman was extremely rude, repeating the same thing hotel security said. She claimed my credit card was declined and I had to come downstairs if I wanted to continue my stay. She also refused to accept my credit card over the phone. When I told her my children were sleeping and I couldn't leave, she said "we have cameras, your kids will be fine". Against my better judgment, I went downstairs, only to find out this entire problem was over a $14.95 resort fee! I have never been treated so poorly in a hotel, this should NEVER have happened, it was completely unacceptable to be threatened at 11:30pm at night. I will never stay again.

Great location! Roof top pool and bar was great, beds and pillows were comfortable. Room could have been cleaner. Sand on the floor from the last people who stayed, dirty corners of the rooms and bathroom, dish soap was cheap and ice machine didnt work and had to walk up to the 4th floor to get ice. We used the pull out sofa and it was covered in crumbs and the mattress was stained. We called for housekeeping several times and it took hours for them to get what we needed. Housekeeping carts were in the hall most of the time so we took what we needed and swept our own floors.
