Tidelands Caribbean Hotel and Suites

We've stayed here before. Convenient to the Boardwalk. Check in staff wonderful! However, bath mat was torn and maid took our hand towels and didn't replace them. We asked for more and she said we have to wait for laundry? Front desk gave us 2 bath towels🙄. Cracks in ceramic towel. Phone didn't work. Needs definite updating!

The staff was amazing entirely helpful entire stay. As a single parent, that matters. Already plan on staying there again!

Hard finding a parking spot

Our bedroom wasn't very clean. The bathroom doesn't have the exhaust fan and it was stemming on every shower time. We asked for a housekeeper and nobody came. It's not a good hotel to come with your loved ones.

The property was always active, so many people everywhere.

The room was in terrible condition. The bathrooms were dirty and the bedsheets where all stained and dirty. We had to ask them to change them and the new ones were also stained. The hotel needs to be remodeled and cleaned deeply. The pool area and the restaurant are the nicest part of the hotel.

Tiny refrigerator, little to no kitchen utensils to cook with in their suites. We had to purchase an air mattress for our daughter to sleep on because the pull out sofa wasn’t fit to sleep on. Floor in our room was very dirty and we had to ask them to clean it 5 times before they did. Swimming pools were filthy and they don’t tell you that you have to go to a different building to get to the deeper pool.

The room was clean and had plenty of space. The bathroom was decent, shower made a very high pitched whining noise while running. The flapper in the toilet tank was so bad I had to adjust it so it would seal so the toilet filled again to stop the constant running. The door to the balcony was very hard to open and close, track was very dirty. Was unable to adjust the temperature in the mini fridge, sometimes was cool, sometimes was barely cold. Went to use the roof pool on Saturday and there was a small group of young adults using the pool area, there was beer cans, ashes from smoking and other containers around the deck. Some of the chairs were not in great shape. Would like a small broom or some kind of mat so we could wipe our feet of tracked sand before getting in bed.
