Holiday Inn Milton Keynes - East M1, Jct. 14 by IHG

Excellent place to stay and enjoy

My wife unfortunately slipped while exiting the shower. Gill Boulter and her staff were so attentive and helpful while the medical emergency was dealt with. I cannot speak too highly of them.

Clean and comfortable hotel with plenty of secure parking and good breakfast. Handy for M1motorway J14 and access to Milton Keynes.

Comfortable room. Very dog friendly. Staff very welcoming. Bar area and food good. Excellent for a 1 night stop over. Will stay again.

Lovely hotel and a really enjoyable stay. The room was spotless (cleaned by Shonda) and plenty of space. Bathroom big and great shower water pressure. Nice drinks tray in the room and biscuits on the bed was a nice touch. The breakfast staff were lovely and the food was excellent. Both veggie & full English were delicious. Plenty of car parking. Faultless visit. Just such a shame that the vast amount of beautiful fields/green areas are being destroyed as this hotel will loose its country feel and will be surrounded by an ugly housing estate. Poor hares were displaced and sad to see however that is out of the hotels control. Lots of nice seating areas and a good bar to sit back and chill out.

Stayed here for 1 night. Slight issue trying to find it just now as its currently on a partly closed road but you just keep going from the south end and you are OK. Nice room, no noise outside but a bit of corridor noise at night and early in the morning from other guests. Our room had been recently re-furbished and had a great bathroom, robes, tea/coffee facilities and a very efficient AC unit which was great as the weather was hot. Free car park but DO remember to register the car otherwise you get a fine. No where walkable nearby for food etc. Cant comment on food as we did not eat but all the hotel staff we spoke to were helpful and friendly. Would stay here again.

Clean and tidy room , air conditioning is good , breakfast is fine . The only issue is the area around due to on going construction work .

I gave 4 stars only because I didn't use the restaurant and bar. This justifies the missing last star. An induction is needed for a comfortable use of the shower. I struggled to find out how to use it.

I booked this hotel using my IHG app as I was looking for accommodation close to our St Neots Office It wasn’t until a pulled up that I realized that during my spell as business development director at Advance Catering between 2006 and 2010 we used the reception area so frequently we joked that this was our Northern Office ! The A509 has changed beyond all expectations as there is a major residential development being constructed The hotel is the last access on the road as it’s closed . The approach is through the construction perimeter but just follow the signage and when you turn into the carpark you are completely isolated from any construction The hotel has far more character than the average Holiday Inn as the front of the property is a beautiful Georgian Manor House My welcome was greater the average reception ( Already Generally very pleasant) and I was offered a lucky dip as a IHG Platinum Elite Member and I won 250 additional IHG points ! There was also a tray of Petit Four and bottles on Budweiser My room was spotless and welcoming to the standard High IHG standards I dropped my bags na strolled back to bar and ordered a drink and Pate and Toast My first drink was complimentary as my IHG status qualifies Replete after a 2nd drink I retired and slept well Refreshed the following morning I enjoyed a buffet breakfast and departed I will definitely return to my old haunting ground Highly recommended
