"Almost Perfect"

Love the view from my room and the shuttle service after check out. The food from the restaurant was AMAZING!!! Didn’t go in the onsen because of tattoos. Loved the breakfast. Downsides they only have a laundry service and not a laundry room.

"Excellent hotel in quiet rural setting"

We stayed two nights in a suite overlooking a green area with trees and hills. Car GPS navigated OK to hotel which stands alone on a quiet road. Arrival and check in were efficient with guidance down a ramp to convenient parking. Room was modern and comfortable. Breakfasts were wonderful with plenty of buffet choices. Onsen was great. Both the western and sushi restaurants were very good with the former being more popular during our stay (we had to reserve table). Front desk service was fantastic. Overall an excellent stay. Car was required to visit nearby villages and lake Ashi although there was a hotel shuttle to a nearby village station. Get to lake Ashi early for parking for lake cruise and ropeway. Also the open air museum nearby was spectacular.

Everything was satisfying but I must say that the breakfast buffet was exceptionally great. We were a party of 8 with 4 kids. The restaurant prepared a space for all of us sitting together.

Staff is excellent! Onsen is nice. Mountain Views from rooms are beautiful. Food was very good. Shuttle service is a nice aspect given that the hotel is somewhat remote. Convenient easy access to the open air museum and the ropeway.

Awesome room with beautiful view. The onsen was a wonderful way to relax after a day of travel. We enjoyed a complementary drink the day we arrived, and our entire group was thrilled with the excellent breakfast offerings!

"Favorite hotel in Japan"

This has been my favorite hotel so far we stayed at in Japan. Customer service was excellent - everyone was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was top notch. Loved the happy hour in the living room and the great fireplace and ambience. Onsen was immaculately clean. Shuttle service to and from the Ropeline and the train station was easy and helpful. The rooms were always clean.
