"AMAZING HOTEL!"

This hotel exceeded our expectations. Beautiful building with a luxury calmness vibe. The room was perfect with a massive terrace overlooking the beautiful hills. Fabulous onsen that was so relaxing. All the staff were great and couldn't do more to help. For anyone looking to stay in Hakone I couldn't recommend this hotel more. After a few busy days exploring Tokyo this was just the stopover we needed before moving onto Kyoto.

This hotel is just wonderful. A great view of the mountains and a nice break to relax in between Osaka and Tokyo. Would definitely recommend and would come back! The food was also delicious and the staff was very attentive to our family and kids!

"Decent Hotel, but nothing special"

Check-in: easy, efficient, fast. Room: twin beds - means 2 queen beds next to each other, wet cell with tub and shower. One little problem got fixed: in the bathroom an appliance was not properly installed. Done immediately after our call. One criticism: both, the TV as well as the AirCon remote was scripted only in Japanese. Although there was a „translation“ available on a separate sheet of paper, the AirCon remote did never show a proper temperature of the room. As far as the TV is concerned, only CNN was available as international broadcast. Restaurant: very friendly service, all good. Breakfast: buffet-style, decent choice. The entire place is a bit crowded and overloaded with chairs and tables. Check-out: quick, efficient, no complaints. Staff overall: very friendly, good English language skills. Summary: a decent hotel, however far from getting rewarded with 5 stars on TripAdvisor.

This hotel is such luxury. We were a family of four and our room was so large it was amazing. The staff were wonderful and so helpful and we enjoyed our favourite meal of the trip in the sushi restaurant. Most definitely a highlight. Such a wonderful hotel we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

Acceptable but closer to a businesss hotel than onsen hotel. The bath area doesn’t offer anything fancy, no view, no outdoor. Same for the room. We booked a tatami room to fit 2 adults and two kids. Size is fine but lack of amenities and view straight in the next building isn’t ideal. Overall, average stay.

"Fantastic vacation stay"

Spacious tatami suite and breakfast buffet was top notch. Complimentary shuttle service to Gora/Sounzan stations very convenient. Also able to reserve pick up by shuttle for extra fee from Odawara station on arrival.
