TownePlace Suites by Marriott Thousand Oaks Ventura County

This is the best TownPlace Suites by Marriott I've ever stayed in. As soon as I walked into the lobby the comforting smell of popcorn filled the air and the lovely decor makes the hotel look brand new. As soon as I approached the front desk I was greeted by a sweet young lady named Christina and her manager who was very welcoming. As I made my way to to my room I noticed how good the hallways smell. Even the elevator had a nice aroma. The property is nice and clean and so was the room. They even have free breakfast! I would definitely stay here again!

Very convenient to my family and easy to get to off of the 101. Several restaurants nearby. Good included breakfast. Found the bed too soft and was surprised by the almost $17 a night parking fee - that was not specified in description- it just stated parking and I realize agreement says they can charge for extras but should be stated in description. There were plenty of spaces so need to charge

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the friendly and helpful staff at the TownePlace Suite Thousand Oaks. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and the concierge, Chritina, was incredibly helpful in recommending local attractions and restaurants. Our room, a 302, was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and a stunning view. The hotel's amenities, including the pool and fitness center, were well-maintained and enjoyable to use. We especially appreciated the complimentary breakfast, which offered a wide variety of delicious options, including Bean Burritos, fruit, and made-to-order Gluten-free bagels and muffins. The only minor issue we encountered was the furniture in the room were dated, which didn't affect our overall experience. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at the TownePlace Suite TO and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Thousand Oaks. We will definitely be back.

Friendly front desk and very clean unit. Great location near freeway and large mall.

Having a kitchen especially when traveling with kids, location, front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

Hallways were dingy and smelled poorly, made me rethink my reservation, but overall stay was good. Stick to cold items and fruit at breakfast as hot items were not the best and even looked sketchy, one of the reasons why we chose to stay here, but ended up getting breakfast elsewhere when I witnessed a staff member wipe the juice spout with what looked to be a super dirty rag.

There was limited option for vegetarians

Wifi didn't work. Required getting a call from some third party service to get it to work. They charge for parking, which is ridiculous considering the area and that I'm a Marriott Bonvoy member. The rooms are better than they were when I last stayed there prior to a renovation, but the bathroom / closet format isn't great. Parking isn't easy, especially if you want to park once when you're checking in. The coffee at breakfast was not good. It's fine but not the best mid-level hotel in the area. I like having a kitchenette but didn't stay long enough to get much use out of it, although I did notice that the handles to the cabinets need a major wipedown. Pretty gross. The hallways are a little depressing. A reno can only do so much sometimes. But it was pretty clean, the bed was comfortable, and I liked the desk space.

I had the most incredible time at the Marriott. The pillows were comfy. The room was clean. The people were friendly. There was a kitchen. The food was good at breakfast. They had waffles, which are my favorite. They even had popcorn in the lobby.

Stay was nice and comfy with clean rooms and attentive staff. Breakfast was very good. There is a Sushi restaurant within walking distance which was great. We were there for three days and enjoyed Malibu and Oxford beaches. There is a big outlet within few miles which I defiantly recommend if you are in mood of shopping.
