El Mouradi Skanes

We’ve just come back from a week at El Mouradi Skanes, and overall, we had a really lovely and relaxing holiday. The beach was clean, the sea crystal clear and full of fish, and we spent hours swimming and just enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. There are two big swimming pools, both spacious and perfect for cooling off or relaxing by the sun. The food was a bit repetitive, but honestly, it was still very tasty, and we never went hungry. There’s also lots to do if you want to be active. Every day there were activities like archery, volleyball, Zumba, aqua aerobics, and even a kids’ corner. There were evening shows every night too – I didn’t join in myself, but it was nice to see people having fun and enjoying the entertainment. We also booked a half-day trip to Sousse and Monastir through our Love Holidays guide, which was a great experience. It was lovely to see a bit of Tunisia outside the resort – both towns were beautiful, full of history, and definitely worth visiting. Now, for the downsides. The hotel really needs some renovation. There was dirt on the walls, mould on the shower curtain, a hole in the balcony door glass, and furniture and carpets that have seen better days. The sunbed situation also needs improvement – not enough of them, and many were broken in the middle. On top of that, you have to pay 50p per day for a cushion, which wouldn’t be a big deal if there were enough to go around (and this was in October!). What really disappointed us was seeing some waiters making tables purposely dirty with leftover food or rubbish to reserve them for certain guests. We often came early and still couldn’t find a clean table unless we tipped a waiter. I have no problem tipping for good service, but that kind of behaviour felt disgusting and unfair. Despite all this, we honestly had a lovely time overall. The beach and sea were stunning, the weather was perfect, and the staff (most of them) were friendly and welcoming. With a bit of care, better maintenance, and fairer restaurant management, this hotel could easily be amazing again.

Well as our first time in Tunisia and we stayed at this hotel, it is definitely not a four-star hotel. The food is the same each day near enough and not much choice. The rooms are not very clean. We had to see a few. The view was lovely though and the staff I cannot fault them they are friendly and very helpful but the entertainment is outside and the bar is nowhere near and there’s no tables at the stage just chairs unfortunately, we will not be coming back to this hotel and it has put a soft Tunisia and be very cautious about leaving the hotel because you will get hounded by the local cab drivers and other people who tried to take you into town

This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. Everything in the hotel desperately needs updated. The rooms are very basic, only one double power point which is not ideal in the 21st century. The public areas are very grubby, frayed carpets, torn fabric on chairs. Everywhere needs a really deep clean. Tables and chairs by the pool were sticky and wobbly. You have to hire cushions for the dirty, broken sun loungers. The cushion are not in great condition, but can be covered with the pool towel which you can hire in this All Inclusive resort. The spa on the other hand was lovely. You would not think it was part of the same hotel. A very warm and inviting area with lovely staff. You even got a real cup when the gave you tea.

Everything is very old, not even 3* let alone 4*. No customer service, personnel is very rude, tablecloths are stained..food is blunt, no proper coffee nor tea, even if you want to pay and get proper brewed tea or coffee, you cannot get it 🤦🏻‍♀️. A la carte restaurant does not have any a la carte menu, just like poor cafe with business lunch menu.. we were sold the disabled accessible room (and paid additional money for it), however, there is no disables accessible room in this hotel, and none of the 2 lifts serves all floors (we are on the 1st floor, can do to cafe, restaurant and to the beach with lift, but not to the reception nor to the entrance of the hotel) The only bright side is that the hotel is on the beach and the water is clear.

Great Stay in October! I stayed at this hotel with my partner in October, and we were both very happy with our stay. The hotel is a bit older, and some rooms could use a little renovation, but our room had everything we needed. The cleaning ladies were very kind and cleaned the room every day. The main restaurant isn’t very big, but there’s something for everyone. A huge plus for the freshly baked croissants and rolls every morning – they were delicious! The restaurant staff were extremely friendly, and the service was very quick. They really do their best, even though some guests unfortunately leave quite a mess behind. There are two swimming pools – one main pool and another quieter one – both very clean, with lifeguards always nearby. The small hotel beach is lovely, and the sea was clean and warm. The local sellers around the beach were not pushy, which we really appreciated. Big respect to the staff who take care of the hotel grounds – everything is neat and beautifully maintained, with trimmed trees and palms everywhere. Yes, some of the carpets are old and might need replacing, but overall, I see far more positives than negatives, especially for a 4-star hotel. And last but not least – the friendly and well-cared-for cats around the property made the place feel even more charming! 🐾

went on a lot of holidays but this year and this time I’m in Tunisia and every time I go on holiday, I like to have a massage done the name of the Massage is ayrvrdic massage the lovely lady had very friendly Insaf , Insaf and that was full body massage. It was absolutely amazing cause of my job. I have very stressful job and I have pains after the massage. I feel I had absolutely pain-free in the first session. I just wanted to take her home with me honestly and she can massage me once a once a month , I want to thank you so much. I really appreciate all the treatment you done for me , the spa is very beautiful very relaxing and the stuff are very welcoming and I really enjoyed they made me feel welcome really good myselfI I would like to thank all the staff here
