Uno Hotel Thames

The hotel is in a perfect spot overlooking the Thames in Taplow. The staff were lovely and although we only had a drink in the bar and 1 overnight stay, they were very chatty and friendly. On entering the hotel it's a bit dated but the room was very spacious and clean. The only issue was the bed! The hardest mattress I've ever not slept on! A real shame as it's very convenient for where my daughter has moved to but wouldn't risk it again.

Dated hotel with parking, don't do a breakfast. Stairs are a killer if your on top floor. Girl on reception was very good. Bang average.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL TOTALLY UNFIT FOR PURPOSE. Cold, damp, smelly, sticky menus, absent food from menu, uncaring staff and owner, the list goes on. We checked-out before we became sick from the cold rooms and damp conditions let alone the cold water from bathroom.

Very good as always.

Thé location was great but there wasn’t a lift and the TV was difficult to operate. Instructions would have been most welcome. .

Hotel is old and looking tired. Needs a complete facelift. There was no hot food for breakfast, when I emailed the hotel to inquire about the price and time of breakfast I got no reply from them. Have stayed here a few times now but will not book again.

For first time visit review very nice place to stay for 3 star hotel with good parking and secure. Only thing I would change is give better quality thicker pillows for better night sleep. As the pillows I had were so thin, Some additional information could be provided in the rooms with what’s for breakfast et cetera and booking out times. As I found the booking information provided on the website and the email for a booking site was one hour difference, so I was confused when the booking out was available. Very nice and clean rooms and friendly staff while recommend a visit.
