Hampton Inn Jacksonville-I-295 East/Baymeadows

No front desk person upon evening check-in, room dirty, especially bathroom. Person did come quickly to clean bathroom, but still wasn't great.

Room key not working...back to desk...huge fans going in halls....door entry broken...fire alarm going off...room smelled....tried to accomodate us in another room...which did have a/c....but huge fans everywhere.....in area often, will not use again

Stay at this property 3-4 times a year.

The property was cleean and very well kept. The staff was nice and professional.

The beds were hard and couldnt really get comfortable. The closet door had a hard time closing. Had to push the door in hold it and then close the door.

The hotel hallway was hot and humid. The ac was not working. The rooms were so damp inside. We changed rooms because of the wetness of the first room and the second room was just as bad. The towels would not dry after using them and everything in the room felt wet. I had medication on the bedside table and it was damp and fell apart when I tried to take it. I can’t help but think this hotel has to be full of mold since it is so humid and damp. I advise people to stay away and stay somewhere else.

Front desk staff and breakfast staff,were very helpful and polite.

This room was rated in the high 80% but I would say that it was in the 40%. The staff was friendly but the room left a lot to be desired. The bathroom sink stopper had to be pulled up with your nails to empty out, tub drained very slow, I had to pull fridge out of cabinet to turn on, lampshade missing, sulfur smelling water, and high price per night for C/D rated room.

We had previously stayed at this hotel & it was okay. This time, the room was in great need of maintenance. The room was very damp which made the towels and sheets feel wet. The AC had broken parts laying on the floor underneath it. The worst part was that ceiling had moldy spots. Breakfast was very average and the coffee station in the lobby had cold coffee.

Staff was nice.

Rooms were smelly and floors were wet, bed sheets were wet. Room had a bad smell. They moved us to another room and that was even worse the ceiling had multiple mold stains and the floor was wet and the bedding. The hallways even smelled like mildew. We checked out immediately. My babies were coughing and I got a bad headache from the smell. Soon as we left my headache stopped. Currently waiting on refund.
