"Exceptional"

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen, man ist schnell in der Innenstadt und am Meer. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und sehr hell und recht ruhig.

In der Hotelbeschreibung wurde mit einem eigenen Parkplatz geworben, leider mussten wir 9 Pfund / Nacht für den Parkplatz zahlen.

Breakfast good. Change of room (2nd room Location good

First room was dirty, mouldy damp flakey patch on wall. Filthy carpet with rubbish and fag butt under the bed. Outside window stagnant water, moss,towels and rubbish Outlet plug in bath rusty. Very nosey road Smelt of stale old Ouder room 119 pictures TV Second room changed on second day ,nice room but again rubbish under bed and not hoovered since room redecorated. Had a infestation of carpet moths , which was reported. External the windows,were unclean, outdoor pool had garden furniture and stagnant water in. Was used to house asylum seekers in very bad condition.

The only good thing of the hotel, is the position. 10min walk from the city centre

Really poor breakfast, the choice is ok, but most of the English breakfast at the buffet were cold and unseasoned. The cleanliness of the room is really poor.

"Great value, good location, friendly staff."

Great location, decor is grandeur from the past. No cheap flat pack furnishings, instead solid wood antiques. Staff very friendly and helpful.?Pet friendly.

Looks like it hasn’t been refurbished in the past 70 years. Threadbare and stuck drawers.
