Initially, we were not given the room we reserved which was two queen beds. Even though I purchased the insurance. However, after returning to the front desk with proof, we were moved to the room we reserved. We do appreciate this.

"Worst hotel experience considering money spent on it."

Worst hotel experience ever. We just checked out of your room. We were charged $250 for a 1 bed. At about 3am- my family and I woke up sweating. The AC was out and the room was SWEATING from the heat! We were only staying the 1 night but upon letting front desk know- there was no compensation offered. The hallway was cooler than our room was. Then after having a horrible nights sleep- my family and I went downstairs to discover you guys charge for breakfast! Ice machines not working, AC out, floors filthy and no free breakfast. How can Laquinta offer a king suite w/ 2 beds AND FREE breakfast for $150! You guys need to do better!

"Fun first visit!"

We visited this hotel in June for a much needed family getaway. With two little boys, finding a family friendly hotel can be difficult. However we had a great stay! Everyone was very friendly and kind to my boys who asked a million questions. The pool was indoors and stocked with towels and toys. Mr. Randall, the GM, went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable first visit to Hattiesburg. He recommended kid friendly places to visit including the zoo. These details are what makes the difference.

The walls and ceiling all have cracked or falling pieces of material, the paint jobs in the rooms especially the bathrooms was very poorly done with stains covered over, and I saw a roach at the pool as well as in our bathroom.
