Beautiful property in great location

Uncomfortable sleeping at night due to hot temperatures and no air conditioning.

Location

The property has no air conditioning it was a hot weekend stuffy rooms with in adequate fan that was old , sheets were poor quality, bed was hard and uncomfortable. Pillows same. No modesty shears on windows. I felt like i was staying in a two star boarding school . Note when I left an expensive item in the room the hotel could not find a trace on my departure despite contacting them immediately they stated that they don’t answer e mails on Sunday and it took two more phone calls and e mails to chase them to still be told they could not find the item which is fairly large and obvious.

Quick over night stop. Booking requests responded to promptly Large comfortable room. Good breakfast Impressive grounds near Old Windsor. Excellent value for money.

My wife is disabled and the room was a long way from the restaurant and other facilities. The disabled stair lift out of order. Weather hot 34C and no aircon. (A cooling fan was provided but too much of a struggle for it!)

No air conditioning in the room. Fan not enough to cook the room as the window opening is restricted. Didn't sleep well as a result

good location and that is the reason why the hotel is priced at a higher rate as it is not for the comfort. The grounds are nice and the staff were pleasent.

The photos demonstrate nice rooms, that is not what you get. Myself and Wife stayed and I also booked another double room for a friend and his wife. There was no water in the room. The free water down stairs on the taps ran out and you had to walk 10000 steps to get it. We stayed in an annex building that frankly had rooms which were poor designed. The bed was two singles pulled together that were on wheels and moved. I fell between the beds. The door on the wardrobe could not be opened fully without moving the bedside cabinet due to poor space. This was the same in my friends room. We were asked to go to the smaller breakfest restaurant on the 1st day due to space in the main restaurant being limited on the saturday. We could not find a table in the smaller restaurant and when we did, no orange juice or items had ran out as they were not being stocked at the level required for the people there. Had to wait 15 minutes to get a coffee. I stay in hotels all around the world high and meduim end. I would say that other than the location to windsor, theme parks and the race course, this is poor value and I cannot believe that I spent nearly £1000 to stay here for two rooms.

Es war sehr abgewohnt, viele Flecken auf den Teppichen, Zimmer extrem hellhörig. Frühstück billig, auf der Website sah es viel besser aus. Die extrem landläufigen Gänge sind verwirrend und nicht schön gestaltet. Eher Jugendherberge Charakter
