Leaking weak shower, dirty windows

Superb food, fulfilling portions, polite and attentive service. It was disappointing to find no real ales of the 3 pumps available at 1930. However, the terrace overlooking the water meadows was perfect at sunset.

We took the dogs and had a great start, the service started well until the second coffee pot, where the coffee blend was exchanged for a thinner cheaper pot. Then the service became slow and we had to start drawing the attention of the staff. This is a great location, pity about the service and second code pot.

Went to the Mill Hotel in Sudbury today for lunch. Absolutely awful. Sat on the terrace which was minging. Dirty and grubby. No attempt to clean it. The food was terrible. Had a club sandwich, not only overpriced, but the bread was stale. Bacon was over cooked and rock solid. Chips disgusting and left most of the lunch. Terrible place . Avoid

Breakfast was poor, and bedroom needs renovating

I enjoyed my stay. The room was comfortable and clean. I probably had imagined it more luxurious but it was fine.

The breakfast was confusing with one room set up for the coach people and then the options in the room itself seemed limited. I was not sure whether I was still able to have something from the other room....
