Holiday Inn Express Brooklyn, an IHG Hotel

I loved being back in Park Slope, Brooklyn, New York. The hotel was located near the restaurants I and pubs I wanted .

Great location

Nice people, but only one elevator, which broke down. Not pleasant for going to a high floor, with or even withou luggage.

I had a great stay. The room was nice and clean. I liked the jacuzzi in the bathroom. The hot breakfast was good. The two ladies working in the breakfast area were very attentive and nice too.

The staff is not friendly and don’t explain anything to you. They just tell you where to sign and hand you the room keys. There is extremely limited parking at the hotel. Maybe 12 spots. The closest off-site parking is about an 8-10 min walk, $45US per day and there are no in and out privileges. The rooms are very small and need repairs. The bed is not comfortable at all it is very hard. You can hear everything in the hallways. And when neighbouring rooms open and close their door. Breakfast is not good and ends at 10am. Most guests thought breakfast was open until 11am. There is only 1 elevator and it is very slow.

Had a fantastic short stay made to feel very welcomed and nothing was too much for the staff! I want to give a special mention to Mr Spencer, Ms Cisse, Ms Yaisy and Ms Nani. Great location to explore Downtown Brooklyn and cross into Manhattan. Staying on the 9th floor meant a long wait sometimes for the elevator. Breakfast was sufficient and a great way to start the day. Don’t normally stay in hotels whilst on short stays in NYC, as I normally have other options, however would definitely stay here again. Definitely recommend it for those that want to stay on a budget without sacrificing safety and comfort!

It came with two full sized beds and I rather have one king size bed so the room looks smaller

Pet Friendly, Really?, YOU END-UP PAYING $100, "cleaning fee", really?. very disappointed. worst part is was not notified at the purchase. Entire building has only one elevator, and very SLOW, everyone uses it service and guest, Service is very rude, not all but most

Everything was great with property. Elevator was the only issue. Everything else was great.
