L'Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa

Thank you for another lovely stay. We booked a weekend break to enjoy the pre-Christmas festivities on the beautiful Island of Jersey. The hotel’s location is spectacular and we received a lovely welcome at check-in and were super pleased with our room allocation. All decorated for Christmas and even a mini Christmas tree in our room (lovely touch). The spa facilities are first class and very welcoming. All the staff go out of their way to help and are very friendly. We enjoyed walks on St Brelades beach and around the bay. There is a bus stop directly across the road from reception and the bus service into St Aubin or St Helier is great. Stunning views of the beach from the restaurant. The food is very nice too! Beautiful Location, sea view worth every penny. Excellent greeting on arrival from Violet and Tony (so helpful in settling us into our room) 🙏 Room spacious and well stocked with teas and coffees, comfortable bed and lovely shower / bath. Maid service and housekeeping on top form. Sadly hot tub out of action and little things like the swim wear dryer broken for duration of stay but Erica very apologetic and helpful in easing disappointment. Hope the Spa doesn’t fall into decline as this is something I love using whilst staying here. The restaurant team (chefs) excelled with this years menu for the Enchanted Forest Dining Experience 10/10, food was delicious and well presented with attentive service from Julie and Daniel. Breakfast at this hotel still the star of the show, awesome choices on menu and nothing too much trouble for Alina and her team 🙏, the setting is lovely and it really does set you up for the day ahead. The bar area is somewhere to chill and relax and we were so lucky to have some very good guitarists / vocalists providing excellent commentary to their playlist that was very easy on the ear for one of the nights of our stay, Can’t wait to return in January, thank you again for the services you provide.

The hotel itself is beautiful, sea views are amazing. A wide variety of breakfast buffet available with orders cooked fresh. The evening grill was top notch with all staff very attentive with exquisite food. The rooms are clean and housekeeping service is very efficient. The spa is also a stunning place to unwind, unfortunately the hot tub and steam room were under repair, but the pool and sauna are a great place to chill after a busy day. All in all a really lovely peaceful stay, thank you. The bus stops directly outside the hotel and run very regularly.

We've been to L'Horizon before and it's like coming back to family. The rooms aren't large but they are well appointed and the views over St Brelades Bay are spectacular. We got soaked when we were caught in a rainstorm walking back from Portelet Bay and the hotel took our wet clothes away and dried and pressed them as part of the service. Part of the attention to detail that epitomises the staff. A lovely stay and we'll be back as soon as we can.

Its been a good while since we last stayed at L'Horizon. Glad to say Its still the same comfortable, super clean, fabulous beach front hotel. The views from our room were truly stunning despite the dreadful weather. Our room had plenty of amenities, Nespresso coffee machine, fridge with fresh milk and water delivered daily. The housekeeping staff do a terrific job and have exceptionally high standards. Must to give a huge shout out to Patricia, such a friendly helpful lady nothing was too much trouble for her. She made us feel so incredibly welcome and when we left she met us with a huge hug. The breakfast menu is vast and most enjoyable. There is so much variety its hard to choose each day. We met Alina many years ago and were delighted to see her still there. She welcomed us warmly and made sure we had everything we could want. Such a friendly lovely person. Great to see her again. All of the staff here have one focus and that's to ensure each and every guest is happy and has the best experience. Its abundantly clear they enjoy their work. The bus stops right outside the door which will take you into St Helier, and drops you back again right outside. So easy much better than driving into town. We didn't use the spa but it looks great. We will be back.

Despite the most dreadful Jersey weather we had the warmest of welcomes at L'Horizon and I'd very much recommend this hotel. It was a wonderful place to stay, with a prominent beachfront location offering direct beach access and the most amazing views. Parking is free, too, and there's a lovely indoor pool, jacuzzi and spa. But what really sets the hotel apart is its staff team, all of whom seemed genuinely proud of the roles they each played in making the guest experience as good as it could be. They very quickly get to know you and everyone greets you with a friendly smile. It made our stay rather personal, which we really liked. We stayed in one of the large 'family' suites, with 2 bedrooms, a roomy bathroom and an additional sofa bed in the large, separate lounge. It was spacious, clean and a comfortable place to be. Choose a sea view room if you want a balcony. The only small disappointment was an underwhelming afternoon tea (£30pp). Served overlooking beautiful St Brelade's Bay it was unfortunately rather lacking in taste and some of the bread was a bit stale. We couldn't raise it with our lovely waiter as we were rushing off but it's one to watch if you choose to have tea there. Otherwise, let L'Horizon do what it does best - welcome you into this lovely, rather intimate hotel.

Stayed here for 3 nights. The staff were so professional and everyone we met was pleasant and caring. The room view was spectacular looking over the bay and decent sized balcony. Would definitely come back

Wow! I almost don’t want to write this review because this hotel is sooo nice, I sort of don’t want to share it! The views and the beach are incredible. Such friendly staff, willing to give you time and help you with anything. There was a very nice looking spa and pool, although we were only there for 2 nights and did not use it, an outstanding breakfast with an excellent buffet and a cooked to order menu - all included, nicely furnished rooms and ours had a big bathroom and big balcony… need I go on? It was our first time in Jersey and this hotel was the right choice. The beach and the rock formations, the little fisherman’s chapel, the sheer expanse of yellow sand with barely any tourists ( it was late September) were just beautiful. We will be back for sure!

Really loved the staff they were all so friendly and very helpful and practical. I thought the hotel looked a bit tired and needed modernising with small old fashioned bedrooms but bathroom clean and serviceable. The grill restaurant gave us an excellent meal. Cocktails were great. My Atlantic cod dish was SUPERB!!

This hotel has the most amazing spot on the beach. Called in with friends for lunch. Staff very friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. We started with cocktails which were lovely. I had steak which was very tender and cooked as requested, friends had fish and chips which they said were very good. My only tiny moan was the banoffee pie. The appearance was like pate with a couple of slices of banana and biscuit crumb scattered around it. The taste wasn’t too bad but the look and texture was terrible. The worst desert I have ever had by far. Besides this, a fabulous afternoon and we look forward to our next visit
