Palm Royale Resort - Soma Bay

Really enjoyed our stay. Get to the beach early as most sun beds are taken by 0700. Alternatively, walk along to ‘Peace’ beach where it is more peaceful and there is more availability. Our stay was made all the better by the excellent Mr Kannan Subramaniam who couldn’t have done more to make us feel comfortable. He made our stay special for which we are extremely grateful

Wonderful esperience, it's the most beautiful resort I have ever seen. Really very very clean everywhere, even in the bathrooms downstairs in the hall. Everybody so kind and nice, more than wonderful, the best I saw. I surely will come back soon, it's a dreaming place

We had a very pleasant stay overall and really enjoyed our vacation. The hotel has a beautiful atmosphere and the rooms are excellent (5/5). They are spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. We had no complaints about the rooms themselves, although housekeeping could be a bit more consistent and regular. The staff deserves special praise. The reception team, bar staff, and animation team were all fantastic (5/5). Everyone was friendly, helpful, and contributed to a great holiday experience. The entertainment activities were enjoyable and well organized. The beach is absolutely amazing (10/10) – crystal-clear water, very clean surroundings, and comfortable sunbeds. The pool area is also great and well maintained. As for the food, I would rate it 4/5. The quality is good, but the menu tends to be repetitive, especially during longer stays. It would be nice to have more variety and some snacks available during the day, such as peanuts or other light bites. Also, there could be a larger selection of fresh fruit during lunch. One thing that was a bit annoying was the number of people constantly approaching guests to sell excursions and additional services. They can be quite persistent. Fortunately, there is also a quieter area where you can relax, although access to the sea there is through the rocks. Regarding the à la carte restaurants that require reservations, in our opinion they are not really worth booking, as the dinner served there is very similar to what is already offered in the main restaurant. Overall, we had a great time. The beautiful beach, excellent staff, comfortable rooms, and enjoyable atmosphere made our stay memorable. With a little more variety in the food and fewer sales approaches, this hotel would easily deserve a full 5-star review.

The buffet food was not good, poor choices a d quality buy the staff are very helpful and trying to provide a la carte restaurants alternatives within the same all inclusive

Personnel, accueillant. Architecture, magnifique décoré avec goût. La chambre était très confortable. Nous nous nous sommes senti à l’aise dans l’établissement. Merci à toute l’équipe. Nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances.

S’il faut mettre quelque chose,.. le buffet chaud n’était jamais chaud. Les plats cuisinés étaient à peine tiède et arrivent froid dans notre assiette, ce qui n’est pas très agréable. Sinon le buffet quand même excellent pour tout le reste.

This is the first time we are leaving a review about a hotel, although we travel a lot. But I want to leave it here, even though 2.5 weeks have already passed since our vacation. First of all, it is the hotel staff - from the moment you entered the lobby to the rest of your stay, in the room, in the restaurants, on the beach, at the pool. We are from Ukraine, we were on vacation with children, without husbands. And the staff did everything possible to make our children and us feel like family, safe, and where they care about us. In the restaurant, the children were always approached, special thanks to the restaurant manager, he always greeted and wished us a good day in Ukrainian. The cleaning was wonderful, they made figures for the children, and took into account the cleaning time taking into account the daytime sleep of the younger child. We would like to separately say hello and thank the waiter at the pool, on the beach and in the evening in the lobby - Abanoub! 🤍The children are delighted with him, thank him for his wonderful cocktails for both children and us adults, as well as his good mood and attention. The check-in went well, they took into account our wishes, checked us in earlier, and while they were actually preparing our rooms, we had breakfast. It's nice after a long journey. The beach and the sea are sandy, with a gentle entrance, ideal for children. Animation for children - they try very hard. The children and we were satisfied.
