Best Western London Ilford Hotel

A terrible state of disrepair, unfortunately. Helpful staff, always willing to help. Not a pleasant stay in terms of general conditions of the rooms and facilities. Not recommended

Absolutely shocking experience, disgusting hygiene, people conducting interviews in reception, workers on the roof with no harness (picture shows him coming down) and when management was questioned stated ' it is nothing to do with me' and subsequently a request for £50 security deposit. I refused to stay and left. AVOID AVOID AVOID

please don’t book this hotel. no safe this hotel using for homeless people & night time to noisy & drunk people very dirty hotel room . your car not safe day& night time because full hotel rented homeless people. night time drugs supplying is well . if give me free this hotel still i’m never go this hotel please please please care full

Honestly the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Please, for your own sake, AVOID this hotel AT ALL COSTS. From arrival, I was taken aback by the rudeness of the hotel staff and their reluctance to get me checked in. Turns out my room was not ready when I arrived, they offered me another room to stay in, which was filthy, humid and rancid. The heating was on for some ridiculous reason, even though the temperatures were soaring during our stay. When we did get our booked room a couple of hours later, it was hot, stuffy and the carpets were filthy. Throughout our stay, the room we were given continued to stay incredibly hot, despite keeping the windows open. Another massive problem was that the hotel are housing the homeless in the basement rooms under the family rooms we were staying in. Unfortunately, these people would make an incredible amount of noise at night time, slamming doors, cheering and jeering outside whilst drinking and smoking weed. The kids were terrified and we all had three sleepless nights as a result. Parking was a massive issue. The hotel has spaces out front but these are almost always occupied. Thieves and thugs roam the streets during the day and night and one of our cars was almost broken into, having it's window rolled down while it was locked. Fortunately we were just leaving the hotel at this time and managed to scare the thugs off. The hotel management are terrible, always arrogant and unprepared to take on customer feedback. PLEASE AVOID.

Pretty average , not happy to fill out forms when all my details are on booking and need to pay a deposit in addition to paying up front.

Was ok got what paid for wasn’t great wasn’t bad only complaint was the service at breakfast was really bad had to ask for more towels as was only given one and one hand towel for 2 people they took £50 off my card of which I now have to wait10 days to be put back on my card ridiculous policy tbh

The hotel is dirty and the I stayed has got bedbugs.

We booked in one hotel and stayed at another. We had a baby with us so the room they gave us was quiet far and carrying all the bags was abit of a mission. It was really hot that day, but they provided a fan. Basic hotel and breakfast lacked seasoning.

Disappointed with overall experience, breakfast no croissants for 3 days, no butter for the first two days, then the butter provided seemed off. Struggled to sleep due to constant banging of front door. Beds seem a little lopsided Staff were friendly. First hotel I have stayed for years that have asked for a security deposit.
