Holiday Inn Express Slough by IHG

Location was perfect to make day trips to London. Right next to the train station. Breakfast was mostly over crowded but then it was late August and everyone in Europe was travelling. Overall, not bad for the price.

The breakfast was good, kids loved it. Carpets need a deep clean they smell and are filthy good thing Tesco is nearby had to buy antihistamines as we all couldn’t stop scratching this is the first hotel in 15 I’ve not been happy with. Parking is ridiculous for a hotel this size, couldn’t find parking was told to park in the train station car park, that was full too, eventually parked on a side road and spent the night scratching and worried about the car. Never going back. My advice pay a bit more and you’ll get a decent hotel with parking.

Friendly and helpful staff, good size and comfortable room, access to railway station. Although we did manage to park at the hotel space was limited so it was a bit of a lottery and also had to be paid for which was quite expensive.

I pay for 1 bottle of water twice.

Amazing I was really worried after reading some reviews as said was next to train station but we sleeped right thru no noise ! Rooms brilliant breakfast was spot on ! Staff amazing and helpful ! Would defo stay again and only 10 mins to Lego land from here !

The lady kn reception was really welcoming and friendly. Very good with the children and very helpful

Rooms and corridors well maintained and clean including bathrooms. Beds were very comfortable. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Only downside is parking was not free on the site.

Good overnight accommodation - very good location for Legoland and other attractions
