BSA Suites Makati

I was disappointed on arrival, firstly by the uninviting entrance and reception area. I had booked a room for two adults and one 9 year-old child, but the room designated had only one queen size bed. There was insufficient space to add a bed. The following morning I was allocated a room with two queen beds - that was good, however, the carpets were dirty and stained. The bathrooms are small and need renovation. In fact the whole hotel needs a good makeover. Three positive points were the location, the friendly staff and a nice roof-top swimming pool (the reason I booked the hotel). One unpleasant event during our stay was that a tenant on the floor below us (in a condominium) kept complaining about the noise coming from our room. No abnormal noise came from our room; there were children staying in many of the surrounding rooms. The second night in this room #1403, the front desk telephoned my room at 9 p.m. to say there were more complaints about the noise. We were already on our beds. There were three more calls around midnight which woke us as we had been sleeping for two hours at least. The hotel receptionist came to our room with two security men pleading with me to change rooms. I refused to do so at midnight, but to please her I said we would move the following morning. What an unpleasant experience having this crazy female tenant screaming at me through the telephone! No I would not recommend this hotel.

The rooms are large and clean and the A/C works great as well as the double washrooms as we stayed in a room for 5 people.Roomy

Ok experience. enjoyed the pool. more channels to cable, need basketball tv.

Stayed for 4 nights, friendly staff, nice location, closed to shopping and restaurants. I was not happy with the served breakfast - plain rice, 2pcs of sausage and chopped green cabbage. This menu needs to be improved.

I cant say enough about this place, only that it is good place to stay

location is great if you have to get stuff done in makati. that's where the positives end. internet at 0.8 mbps - prob slowest i've ever seen in a hotel very old rooms. halogen lighting in addition to bare walls adds to a hospital feel. facilities extremely old - gym (if you can call it that) equipment doesn't work. water in pool murky. breakfast: bowl of cereal + fruit - def not what you'd consider a hotel breakfast. can't say that its what you get for the money - i moved out and got another suites hotel 5 mins walk away at same price which was incomparably better.

Okay but the towels and floormat need improvement

BSA is a short taxi trip from via the express "Skyway" motorway. The hotel staff were tops - could not be more helpful We had two separate apartments - one for other family members. 1/ Ours was one large room with small kitchen - it was short on comfortable chairs so watched TV on the bed not good. Only enough plaits cups knives forks etc for 2 people. An old noisy box air conditioner just above the floor, so the cool air did not rise. 2/ The other apartment is what we were expecting from the Expedia photos - a separate bedroom from the lounge/kitchen and comfortable settee. Again just the number of cups plates etc. This apartment had two smaller box, above floor air conditioners . 3/ The pool was great but lacking in comfortable pool furniture. 4/ This is our first time staying in Makati and usually we did not feel unsafe. 5/ FOR THE PRICE WE PAID SHOULD NOT COMPLAIN AS OUR ACCOMADATION WAS GREAT VALUE. WE WILL STAY THERE AGAIN NEXT TIME.
