Campanile Swindon

Not only is this hotel currently a construction site that the builders wake you up early but also the lift is out of action. The WiFi requires you to log in every 30mins. This is a budget hotel I went and stayed at the Ibis in Swindon instead…much better

Recently taken over by Travelodge and having construction work done very little disruption and will be a asset to the chain once completed

The hotel needs to close and reopen once the work has been done! It was filthy! Terrible service also. A hostel would have been cleaner. Do not stay here! The rooms and corridors had really bad odours too! Cannot recommend strongly enough to stay elsewhere!

Lift not working, weird brown stain on bedsheets. Very low water pressure on cold taps. Hot water scalding. The shower was not working, no aircon, only a woefully inadequate fan to cool the room in 30 degree heat. No chance of running a bath as the plug didn’t fit the bathtub. So no chance to freshen up. And no staff available to fix the issues (not that they could switch my room at 5.30 am when I discovered the broken shower).

easy to find ; surprising decor ! Shame the lifts aren't working yet, but I knew that at the time of booking. Good parking areas.

Poorly maintained hotel with multiple issues. We were given a disabled room which caused some problems using the fittings. The light didn't work which made it difficult to check for signs of bed bugs which we have encountered in another Travelodge earlier this year.

If you don’t mind a bit of wear and tear for a cheaper price that suits location then it will do. The bonus is the free parking. I slept ok even on a bed that felt a tad harder than I usually like, I must have been tired

Arrived to the lift not working, staircase was dingy and had an awful smell. Room was filthy, hair on bath towels, a tortoise could run the London marathon faster than the water came out of the shower head, stain on mattress, and curtains missing. I understand it’s cheap and you get what you pay for but I expect it to be clean. Would not inflict Travelodge on myself ever again
