The place had a soul of its own which permeated all experiences during our stay. All the staff were very friendly and sincerely helpful. We could feel that it was different from other "hotels" as Charles Correa's design has imbued a sense of warmth and hospitality in every staff. The heritage walk was the highlight. We decided to attend the walk on our first day. Nikita Fernandes, who guided us on the walk, was passionate, very knowledgeable and gave a great insight into the design and history during the village walk making us visualise life in a Goan village. The 20 mts walk went up to 90 minutes and we wished it never stopped. She added special touches from her own childhood and life, which made the experience very human. Her ability to connect with people in a very sincere way, is a definite great asset to the resort. From the Manager to the house keeping staff, the flute player who played Vande Mataram at our request, everyone went over and beyond their call to make it a perfect, memorable stay. Thank you to everyone for your warmth and hospitality.

The Taj de cidade heratige has been an amazing hotel to stay at. The service and welcome has been more than hospitable. The room keeping staff have been excellent. They have gone above and beyond to make us feel special. We had a decorated room to come in to and even had a surprise foot bath one evening. The staff Biswajit, Tribhuwan, Narayan, Chotu and Sunng are exceptional staff. The staff at the restaurants have also been so kind and made sure that we were looked after. No request was too big for them and our happiness was a priority. I would recommend this hotel a thousand times over

Amazing hospitality and such a scenic, peaceful location. The staff is super warm and attentive, and the property’s beachside vibe with Portuguese-style architecture makes the whole stay feel special. Beautiful place and great service overall.

Location is beautiful with an amazing sunset. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The lobby areas have nice seating to relax, have conversation or just spend time with yourself and read. Nice pool area. Limited pool seating and umbrellas though. Beach area is clean and water was nice to swim in. Main Dining area had good food and many choices and Cafe Azul also had a nice variety of food to meet all dietary needs. Great blend of eastern and western blend. Service could have definitely been better at bars and dining areas and due to wedding events at both heritage and horizon properties, we encountered quite a bit of noise which was somewhat bothersome when you’re trying enjoy the nature and have a peaceful holiday. Hotel concierge and management made good effort to address our needs and helped us book rides for outside dining and shopping. No Uber in this area due to unionization of local taxi services but the hotel can help make reservations and pricing is reasonable.

Stay was amazing. Very good hospitality and overall good experience. Perfect view for sunset and beach. Decent food options as well.

The stay was pleasant and great. The staff had ensured we had a personalized experience and with a small kid this was really helpful. We loved the property, overall stay and humble staff. Overall great hospitality.
