Great Wolf Lodge Grand Mound

It was amazing for our first night in Washington. We had a good time. The atmosphere was good. Everything was nice and clean.

Dear Great Wolf Lodge Guest Relations Team, I am writing to provide feedback about our recent one-night family stay at the Great Wolf Lodge in Grand Mound, WA, from June 12 to June 13, 2026. Overall, my family enjoyed the water park, activities, and family-friendly atmosphere, which created some wonderful memories for the kids. Unfortunately, the condition of our room fell far short of expectations and negatively affected our stay. The room had a strong, persistent mold-like smell from the moment we entered that lingered throughout our time there. This made it uncomfortable, especially with young children present. In addition, while using the shower, the dispenser fixture suddenly detached from the wall and fell, striking my arm and leaving a noticeable bruise. These issues turned what should have been a fun and relaxing family getaway into a stressful experience, particularly considering the cost of the stay. We expected a clean, safe, and properly maintained room. I kindly request that you investigate the maintenance and cleanliness issues in the room we stayed in. To help resolve this and make it right, I would appreciate a partial or full refund for the room, or a significant credit toward a future stay. I am happy to provide my booking confirmation number, room number, or any other details needed, and I can share photos of the bruise and fixture if requested. This is the second year we went and first year was a five star stay!! This stay was 4 stars and here’s why…. Room was good bed wasn’t the most comfortable but I don’t fault them on that I have RA so I struggle to find comfort. I love that it was easy to get around and the staff I encountered were great minus one man that was working the build a bear he was rude and clearly didn’t like children that was why I only gave 4 stars was he made my daughter uncomfortable by how snappy he was towards her she’s 9 and autistic and just didn’t understand the mumbling he was using.

We have come here many times & we enjoy it even with the heavy cost it’s usually worth it to us. Although this time around wasn’t the cleanest. My friend’s son got sick with parainfluenza & had to leave early. Our rooms were not cleaned the best. I do not blame the staff they are doing their best with the staff they have. They are understaffed & the staff I have seen many times over the years are sadly now gone. I wish to come to GW again I just hope they can get there staffing issues under control

The room wasn’t cleaned thoroughly. There were little kid hands prints all over the sliding glass door. When using the pull out bed, there were 3 empty soda bottles as well as toys underneath the sofa. For the most part, the staff was great. Except for when using the cabana. We used the QR code for service, not once in the entire day did we see a server. The staff in Oliver’s Mining experience were over the top. They were friendly, and seemed to really enjoy helping our family identify rocks. The staff at the ice cream could have been more friendly. They seemed annoyed to assist our family with our order. The staff at the pizza place were great! We ordered our pizza through the app, when we arrived to pick up our order, they made sure our order was correct. And they engaged with us with smiles. When eating at the fireside restaurant, the wait staff went over and beyond to be sure we were happy with our service.

Everything was amazing. Great experience.

So much fun to be had, rooms are clean and fresh, food is good lots of choices. Atmosphere is fun and exciting for kiddos and parents. Location is right off interstate so easy to find and get too. Its loud until quiet time so be prepared for that the rooms dampen the noise a bit. Service was awesome everyone was helpful and nice. Will return again and again

Charged us $120 for not returning towels? We left them in the room. It was never communicated that we had to return them to a specific place by any staff member. Complete scam. Then you try and call to dispute and they never answer. Will not be back.

This is our second time visiting Great Wolf Lodge in Grand Mound, Washington. The staff was excellent, the atmosphere was exciting, and overall a fun little getaway for our family of five. The team member that stood out the most was Alexan in the Moonshine Mine, he was patient, helpful, and had lots of fun facts about GWL. Our only complaint would be the check in process. We did the self check and didn’t get our Food and Fun pass initially. I had to go up the desk and was told they should have given it to us after we completed the self check in. Last, we were a little bummed with the removal of the large cabin when you first enter the building.

I did not have high expectations with the hotel, staff or food, as usual most "gimmick" playgrounds has ataff that are young and immature. Therefore do not care to brighten your experience. Instead we were greeted with smiles, and very helpful staff. We had a cabana reseved for the day which came with pizza, water, sip cups, wings, salad and breadsticks! I can state rhat the food was delicious! The hambur and fries we had the night before was great. Everything we tried on the menus were delicious and pricing comparable to ither in house diners.
