This hotel is well situated and very upscale with one serious flaw. Guests cannot set the thermostat below 20 degrees, and the hotel room frequently did not even achieve that level of coolness. This should not be the hotel's policy. Indeed, it was the only upscale hotel we stayed in that restricted the thermostat to that 20 degree (Celsius) figure. All the others permitted a setting as low as 18.5 degrees (or even lower). So, I cannot recommend staying here unless you like to sleep in a room that is not sufficiently cool.

I had a great time staying at this hotel. The view of the cctv building was good, breakfast had classic Beijing native foods, and hotel service was superb. Additionally, the rooms bathroom situation is kind of interesting so it might not be ideal with share with family other than your significant other but the amenities were great.

This is my second time visiting this hotel, but I was a bit disappointed this time as there was no room upgrade, not even to a corner room. In addition, the restaurant during breakfast was very noisy. There were many kids running around and making noise as if it were a playground, which was a bit annoying, to be honest.

The bathroom is good, but the view is not as good as I expected before.

We had a wonderful stay here while visiting Beijing with my family. The hotel is very well located in the Central Business District and is conveniently connected to a large shopping mall with plenty of shops and great restaurants, which made everything very easy for our trip. We chose this hotel as our base while visiting the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace, and the Great Wall, and it worked out very well. The location was convenient, the suite was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast offerings were excellent, even though our sightseeing schedule was so tight that we did not get to enjoy them as much as we would have liked. We also had a wonderful meal at the Chinese restaurant on the lobby level. The food was delicious and felt authentically Chinese, with excellent flavors and careful preparation. It was a very enjoyable dining experience for our family and added even more to the overall quality of our stay. What truly made the stay stand out, however, was the service. The staff were outstanding and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our visit. Legorie, in particular, was exceptional. She was hospitable, professional, and incredibly attentive. We were especially grateful that she was able to confirm our Suite Upgrade Award months before our stay. She also anticipated our family’s needs, shared helpful recommendations for sightseeing in Beijing, and went above and beyond to assist us. One evening, when we found ourselves stranded at a restaurant after dinner, she kindly helped arrange a cab for us and even paid the fare upfront, which I later reimbursed. The hotel also thoughtfully provided a complimentary bottle of wine for my wife’s birthday, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, this was a memorable stay, and we would gladly return.
