Lovely hotel wonderful staff And we really enjoyed the piano being played by Alan and his friend on Saturday night…

The location

The night staff was asleep when I arrived. I got allocated a room that was inferior to the one I’d paid for. The lift broke due to an ongoing problem (apparently) so had to walk three flights of stairs with luggage. Room was badly cleaned. Discarded beer bottle tops on the floor behind the coffee making facilities. The tops of the sash Windows hadn’t been cleaned for a while so thick dust came on to my hands when I closed the window.

We enjoyed our stay at The Chatsworth Hotel very much, made us feel very welcome. Nice ambiance, lovely room and super breakfast. Thank you to all of the staff there.

perfect location, right on the sea front, parking voucher was bonus lovely hotel, very friendly staff, lovely lounging areas

nothing specific. the decor was slightly outdated but this didn't bother us or cause any functional problems

Friendly helpful and welcoming staff. Good location. Quiet in the hotel and not too much noise from outside. Parking permit very helpful and good price.

There wasn't much *deluxe" about the deluxe double room. Whilst the mattress was comfortable, the bed was two singles put together with a noticeable ridge between the two. No plug in the basin - we asked for one but were told "we don't do those". No soap dish, so the hand soap just sits in a slimy little puddle on the side of the basin. Ill fitting curtain let in so much light it was like broad daylight in the room at 5 am. Paintwork quite tatty and bed linen clean but tired looking. No kettle, just a coffee machine which dispensed hit, but certainly not boiling, water. Feeble shower.
