Lake Texoma Inn and Suites to match IHG

Where to begin: hot tub doesn't work, pool was freezing cold. Security for the pool door broken so any child could wander in there. Elevator took forever and you have to hit the buttons hard to get it to work. The breakfast not good. They cancelled our reservations because we weren't there by 4 am because our flight was delayed even though I had already paid for thr room. Had to argue with staff because she said I would have to pay for another room, finally they gave us a room. We booked 2 queen beds, but they gave us a king with a sofa. Shower knob was broken, took significant strength to turn on it off. Ice machines don't work. Housekeeping never came to our room during a 4 day, 3 night stay. Dirty tables in the dining room. Just not what we were expecting, very disappointing.

Not a good stay. First room was a mess had to get another room. Lady at desk said she was told the room was ready. The elevator for the 4 story hotel yad issues. The second floor button did not work. Second time in elevator would not move finally let us out. We used stairs the rest of the time. Room was okay just the bed had no mattress covers just a this sheet. TV was good and the heat was good. Next morning the breakfast had no one working. The food was out open at 7am we showed up at 740. People waiting said the lady at front desk is doing everything. Had to wait 20 minutes until she came in and started to fix breakfast. Very disappointed with the service for breakfast. Not the best place we stayed need work room was a little run down. Had a big bucket in lobby to catch a leak from the ceiling.

Very nasty. I wouldn’t even take off my shoes in the room. Curtains were dirty. I didn’t even pull the bedding down to sleep on it.

Used to be a Holiday Inn Express and was nice. Not any more! When we checked in, noticed no ceiling light bulb in light above door or the bathroom. Asked the front desk and they said they were out of them and on backorder. They have Home Depot and Lowes 6 miles away. No wash clothes, on back order. Ice machines on every floor, only second floor one wrks. Mens and Ladies Guest bathrooms on ground floor had filthy (fecal spattered bowls) were never cleaned for the whole stay. Had to get toilet paper from front desk. Also no paper towels. Breakfast was minimal and Coffee horrible. Lucky IHOP close by. 1 0f 2 elevators functional. Trash surrounds the outside grounds. Staffing, Housekeeping etc. appears to be a skeleton crew. Some members have to work double shifts. Much more, tired of typing. Will stay at Hampton again next time.

The first room they put us in was filthy, mold in shower, stunk when we got off elevator even the room had a smell, head board was dirty the whole room nasty. Air did not work went and asked for new room second room was on different floor and was way better. until 2nd night then air stopped working in middle of night. When checking out told front desk lady and she had a excuse of why air stopped working said it was because of temp outside didn't offer discount for all the problems or nothing.
