The Kala Samui

We stayed here for 7 nights for our honeymoon and had an amazing time. Beautiful staff and a great resort to relax. Would definitely go back!

the stay at kala was a pleasing one....hotel staff are very much there to make your stay a memorable one......we loved our stay at the kala barring the location of the resort which is neither in lamai nor in chewang everything else was near perfect. the stay at the villa was very much enjoyable......will recommend this resort to anyone seeking peace and wanting to spend some quality time with their partner.

I don't like complaining but this was by far one of the worst hotels I stayed in. Overpriced , unprofessional service plus hardly anyone spoke any English. The turned our ride to the airport around back to the hotel just so they could charge us for drink spilled on the sheets ($500 baht) that was after I paid 15,000 baht for some drinks and food I occasionally purchased at their restaurant lol. I nearly missed my flight because they thought they couldn't wash the sheets off. Wow . Yeh and as I was checking out and was in a middle of paying my bill the reception guy went to answer the phone, left me waiting while talking on the phone and scratching hid balls. Used to love Thailand until now. Time to experience other parts of the world.

The swimming pool is nice. It's true that all the room can enjoy a sea view.

The best part of this hotel is certainly the panoramic sea views, very beautiful. Our room had stunning views. I thought the room itself could have been a bit more luxurious - TV was in an awkward position and was a bit small. I get the feeling they are trying to be more 'Island style' but in an upper class way, rather than luxury.

Awesome experience in the kala samui ! Excellent service and amazing room with good view ! We have a great time here !!! Very recommending!!!

Outstanding view and staff

The pool villa is amazing! You'll never want to leave it. The staff are amazing and kind. You won't be disappointed.

Spectacular views over looking the sea. Friendly, helpful, and courteous staff always willing to assist with our needs. Would absolutely stay there again. This is a quiet hotel away from the busy beaches. The cons: food and drinks were pricey compared to what you could get just down the street at other hotels.

Sent several emails to the hotel to arrange for airport transfer but no reply from them. called Expedia for help. Expedia called the hotel to relay my request. Hotel staff at the Front Desk said that they could not access the emails sent to Reservations & provided another email add. While still on the line with Expedia, who is also on the other line with the Front Desk, I immediately email my flight details to the Front Desk which Expedia confirmed with the Front Desk that they have received my email & said will reply my email. However I did not receive it. So I crossed my fingers & departed for Koh Samui. Thank goodness, the hotel transport was there @ the airport when I arrived. stayed in the Duplex Villa 103 which has a great sea view from the balcony (2nd floor) but only a partial sea view (blocked by the trees) from the private pool on the 1st floor. The Villa next to mine (assumingly Villa 104) has unblock sea view. Prepare to climb steps as there are no lifts. Villa's free wifi is not stable. Hotel only provides 1-way shuttle to town. U have to take a metered cab back to the hotel. However, I waited in vain at the taxi stand. had to use the NaviGo app (saw the advert in the island guide map, it is similar to Uber) to call for a cab. During my stay, there were 2 blackouts in 1 nite between 2300 - 0000 hrs. each lasting for a few min. found out from the hotel staff that it is common on the island
