Holiday Inn Haydock M6 Jct23 by IHG

pretty decent Holiday Inn, but surprised that the was no water in the room (pretty standard nowadays even in a B&B) and Shower room only had towels for one, it was a double room. We had a late lunch, the food was fine but the service was very slow. Breakfast was busy, self service but selection was fine and the food good.

We came as a group of 10 from Glasgow this is our fifth year in a row , we and the kids absolutely love it here , the staff are fantastic and can’t do enough, a big thanks to Louise who helped us arrange everything also Jake and Jackie and all the staff who are so friendly, the rooms are spotless and the breakfast is amazing with a great variety, the kids love the pool well done guys see you all next year

Haven’t stayed in a holiday in in a while. Back in the day these were the hotels that set the bar for medium range business stay overs and were very well regarded. Fast forward a few years and the holiday inn still lives up to its reputation. They have obviously invested in the public from of house rooms however as with so many chain hotels the bedrooms could do with sprucing up. My room whilst very comfortable was very tired decor wise. The sink plug was stuck and the tv when I arrived had been disconnected. When I reconnected it I was rewarded with only three channels I could watch which is poor these days. Food at night in the restaurant was “ok” - I had tomato soup which was the best tomato soup I’d ever tasted however the macaroni whilst topped with a lot of cheese was a bit flavourless. However they did that thing that grates with me in restaurant - instead of waiting until I’d finished my soup my main course was served to me. That’s a no no in my books. Breakfast was choice of full English and continental and was lovely. Staff very pleasant. As a bonus the hotel has leisure facilities. All in all a fine hotel but in need of an upgrade and a little thought behind the scenes

This hotel is absolutely amazing, I'm absolutely blown away to how good this hotel is, From the outside looks amazing, then when you walk in first thing you notice is the staff smiling and make you feel good with very positive attitudes and easily approachable but more so they go above and beyond for anything you need nothing was a problem to them, great team of people in this hotel and should be proud in what they are doing. Food well that's on a different planet and I was thrown back to how amazing it is, I honestly thought Gordon Ramsey was in the kitchen it was that good, very tasty, well presented, chef is amazing. Hotel is very clean also and has a nice chilled relaxed feeling about it also, Prices on food and beverages are also decent better than alot of other hotels I've stayed in . I would highly recommend people to stay here it's really worth it. Will be staying here again that's a fact. Thank you everyone at haydock holiday inn you are all amazing.

Friendly, helpful staff especially the breakfast staff. All the breakfast food was of the highest quality and presented well, spoilt for choice and although I have stayed in numerous hotels this was the best breakfast selection and quality I have ever had. Couldn’t fault it. We also had afternoon tea put on for the family, again good quality food provided and nicely presented. Thanks to all the staff involved we had a great stay. I would recommend staying here.

Staff were fantastic, couldn’t have been nicer or helped us more (had one wheelchair and one baby and they were so kind). Hotel newly renovated and clean.

Great location directly off m6. Clean and tidy. Staff can't do enough for you. Great all around

Checked in, Shower was hanging off the wall, Tea splattered up the wall, Booked room with stocked mini bar and only 2 bottles of water in the fridge, No offer of another room, Manager was very rude and no compassion at all!!!!! No refund offered! Deffinatly not worth staying at, Still waiting for a responce.

Fab hotel! I had booked a premium room (without knowing) and it was brilliant. Hotel staff really accommodating. Mini bar included with room. Breakfast buffet really nice and the room large and comfortable. Would definitely stay again
